The Gross Things you see.....

Okay I have a couple Disney ones. The last time my fiance and I were at Disney (2007) we ate a later dinner at Rainforest Cafe, the one in Downtown Disney. We just sat at the bar and ordered the grilled pizza, I think it was served on a flatbread or something, personal sized. Well, when I started eating mine, it had a loooong hair across it, baked into the cheese. UGH. We told the bartender who apologized and offered to have the kitchen make me another one, but I declined because after that I lost my appetite. I realize hairs in food will happen, but it's still gross when you take a bite and discover a hair in your mouth and baked into your food.

My other one also happened at this same Rainforest Cafe, but a few years earlier, when I was there with my parents and my son, again for a late night dinner (I think they stay open until midnight or something) We were a few of the last customers of the evening, so the staff began to clean up the dining area. We watched the lady clearing the tables around us and setting them for the next day. She had a pile of forks and knives and was putting them on the chairs - not on a plate or napkin or in a bin, just lying on the filthy chairs that everyone's butts are sitting all over after riding a bunch of rides that millions of other butts sat in. She'd put the pile on one chair, set the table, then move the pile to the next chair. How gross, especially for the last table who were lucky enough to get the utensils after they were lying on several different chairs. :crazy2:

I am sorry to go there, but...better a long hair than a short one, kwim? Eww.

Ewww oh the thought!!!! :scared1: Now if it had been a short hair, I'd be the topic of one of these posts cuz a fellow Diser would be all like, "So this lady was puking all over the bar area at Rainforest Cafe" LOL

For reasons already stated, this is why I avoid public pools, refuse to dine at a buffet and will not touch the hand rails while waiting in line.

My faves have been at buffets. The best of the best was at Germany, where a kid was non-chalantly tasting each item off the serving spoon, then plunking it right back down into the food.

I've also seen a nose-picking handrail decorator, although I can't remember which part it was in.

We were walking by 1900 Park Fair (on our way to Narcoosies) and a young teenager projectile vomited all over... it was horrible... my DD still remembers this and she doesnt even remember meeting Mickey Mouse!!!!! Its actually turned us off from eating there and I really want too... lol

I'm going to opt out of answering this one.... :rolleyes1 I used to be a lifeguard at Blizzard Beach - enough said! But I can't wait to read what others have seen! :lmao:

Let me think... hold on... do I wanna think about this? :scared1::lmao:

OK, DH and I went to eat at Peco's for dinner during EMH, I spotted a table and let him do the ordering since we would be splitting a burguer and my feet were killing me.

After a while DH came by and he was obviously bothered by something, also our burger was pretty much "Nakkid" no extra toppings, just ketchup and mustard

I asked him what happened, he said he saw a lady with her DS go through the toppings bar, stick her hands in the lettuce, the tomatoes, wipe them on her jeans and then went for the onions and even TRIED to get onto the mushrooms, but they were too hot, so she had no choice but to use the utensils for those.:scared1:

I was so grossed out we haven't eaten there since. I guess her logic was that the utensils had been touched by a bunch of people before her, so she was trying to be "sanitary" and use her hands instead :rotfl:

I have a friend who said she saw something just like that at Peco's once, so yeah... it is totally off our list.

I am so tired I cannot read the whole thread so I have to subscribe. Can't wait to read this in the morning and at my 2 cents.

I hope I forget this thread before our next trip, or we'll all be wearing gloves.

Some things can't be helped, example my 2 yo nephew had to much chocolate milk in the hot sun. Yep, lost his cookies. But we got it taken care of quickly. But, peeing outside, diapers on tables, boogers on railings, those you can help and should know better.

YUCK AND YEECH............I know there are gross people everywhere. We are here now and I have a semi-gross incident. Today at Hollywood studios, while wearing my brand new gym shoes I stepped in a fresh mound of gum. Nice..............someone had to have spit it out and I found it..........had to go ask for ice cubes to get it off my shoe. Then I was attacked in the heel and ankle by a stroller but that is another topic to vent about later.:surfweb::wizard:

This thread has made me laugh out loud several times and put antibacterial wipes on my "things to buy" list!!!

My daughters are now 13 and 11 so maybe I am just out of the loop. But since when do people carry around a potty chair. I just can not figure out though why people do that? I mean isn't it a little big? Doesn't it become very unsanitary? Maybe they have some new-fangled kind, but the one I had was too big to be carrying around.

And with the kids peeing outside, I would have to say something! I mean come on!!! I am originally from the most country small town in Georgia! And you can bet I know some rednecks. But I cannot belive anyone would let their kid pee out in the middle of DisneyWorld!!!:scared1:

And, yes, the site of some half grown kid going up and breastfeeding grosses me out! Yes, I said it! If they are big enough to eat a Mickey ice cream they are too big to be eating you! :rotfl:

Well this isn't gross but it was VERy awkward. We were standing in line for Toy Story Mania, and the woman behind us pulled her **** out and started breastfeeding her older toddler. We were trying to look at all the cool items around the room except for what was behind us and I didn't feel comfortable turning to talk to my family behind us. :rolleyes1
If she needed to breastfeed that bad, she could have at least put something over her shoulder to hide the view so every young kid especially little boys wasn't getting a full ****y shot. :confused3

It's amazing how rude some people can be. Who would video tape this? Couldn't someone pull him aside and let him know? Any why is it necessary to post it on youtube. I feel so bad for that guy :(

Totally agree, not matter what it was, taping and then posting it was a rude and childish thing to do. What is wrong with people?

This gross thing was not only seen but felt. I went to grab toilet paper in a bathroom at the MK and someone had smeared poop on the paper holder.I started gagging.
At AK, because of the prrevious incident I was more careful and yes, someone had smeared it there too.

Yuck! I routinely see things in bathrooms (everywhere!) that can't be accidents. How did this happen people? Come on!!!
