does anyone know if they sell the my little pony kits at everything pop??? tia

I just measured my blue and white mug from 2007 and it holds 14 oz. Slightly more if you fill it to the very top.

Thanks! ;)

Another question...
Last year we had a rental car, and though we used the buses most of the time, we did drive to a few places, one being DTD. How long does it take to get to DTD usually from Pop and where does the bus drop you off at?

Oh an anyone else going the first week of March? Or do I get the whole resort to myself? LOL!

This is from the Pop picture thread. Maybe they will get more thoughts here:

The rooms at the mods are not that much bigger than the values. The mods also have lots of guests and I believe the values handle the crowds better. The value resorts have queues for both the food court and the bus stops. I found the moderates a bit of a free for all without the queues.

I honestly have never been to WDW in July and I have only stayed 4 to a room in the value resorts one time (3 adults 1 child) for 5 nights. We didn't have any problems.

I'm sure you can have a great time at Pop!

Thanks....I appreciate the effort!!!:)

There are two bus stops once you arrive at Downtown Disney; one in Pleasure Island and the other at the Marketplace. Here's a map I Googled that shows the bus stations at DTD:

As far as commute time, there's a transportation calculator and time estimates up in Post #1 to help you, too.

Have a great time!

No - you don't get it all to yourself - hope you don't mind sharing?:goodvibes

DH, DS7 and I will be at POP March 1-8 - six more sleeps and we start our drive south...REALLY looking forward to this trip :woohoo: - first time at POP (we stayed at CBR last year). Although, DS started with a stuffy nose and a cough today - hopefully we'll get rid of it before next weekend!!:upsidedow

Who all is in your party?

:cool1: Just rebooked us for Pop in August. Our first time was this past December. I used to say I wanted to try all the Disney hotels, but now I just want to go back to Pop Century. It was soooo amazing!

That's how I feel I am just comfortable with Pop!!

If I remember correctly it was only about 10 minutes to get to DTD Marketplace. The bus stops pretty much at the entrance...hope this helps...

Thanks... I'll check out that map.
as for the calculator..I think I'm the one who provided the link on the old thread. LOL! :thumbsup2 I am more interested in hearing how long it takes the average person, with waiting in line. etc. those calculators are great, but only caculate the driving time with out any interferance for the most part.

Welcome aboard. We will be staying the first time in Sept.

Yes you can get a bus that early. The buses start running for early breakfasts and whatnots. You should be fine.

Has anybody used Enterprise car rental and had them pick you up at POP? I've never driven at Disney, but we have a few things planned off site this trip. My routine is fly in to MCO, ME to POP. I still want to take ME rather than rent the car at the airport because I'm spoiled and don't want to drag my own luggage around. Shameful, huh? :guilty: Thought it might be easier to just have Enterprise come to POP rather than wasting time going over to Alamo. Suggestions please...TIA

We'll be staying at POP from March 5-10!! :cool1: :cool1:

Melissa - we'll also be at POP 02/27 to 03/03; myself, DH and DS (9). We have three more sleeps to go!:cool1:

I also want to say thank you for all of the great information I've gleened from the boards, time very well spent!:hourglass

Quick Question....is the bridge over Hourglass Lake closed off or can you walk over it? I know the other side of the resort is not finished so I just wondered how they sectioned this off.
