I've finally decided since today is the day that I can do it! I am going to do OnLine Check In Again it has been good to us the past 2 yrs so why not

Our flight lands in Orlando around 1:15 pm on Sunday, Aug. 21.

• Magic Express to POP
• Check-In
• Unpack a few things
• Bus to Magic Kingdom

Is it reasonable to assume we would make it to the Magic Kingdom around 5 p.m.? We have an ADR for 6:00 at the Plaza and I know we will want to venture up to the castle before dinner.

I think you are being very generous on the time you are allowing. Our last trip, our plane landed at 11:05 and we were walking into Epcot by 1:20. It took us about 45-50 minutes to get from the airport to POP. We checked in (room wasn't ready), checked our luggage, jumped on a bus and off to Epcot we went. When we walked into Epcot, my DH and I were talking about already being at the park barely 2 hours after landing

You will have plenty of time to visit the castle and maybe even enjoy a ride or some of the stores on Main Street! HAVE FUN!!

I sort of feel the same way but it a good way. We upgraded to CBR this am after tossing around the idea for months. I finally just did it with less than 3 weeks left. . We are there also for 10 days. We aren't getting queen beds but i know it will be super hot and we will be spending more time at the resort than usual. I will miss pop such a great resort.

Didn't you originally down grade from CBR to Pop?

I upgraded to CBR this morning also, but didn't tell the wife. She won't know until we actually arrive at CBR. Initially, I upgraded to the DDP from QSDP for our Pop stay. Last night, I decided to price a stay at CBR and Port Orleans. They were only $200 more, so I switched our reservation and I'm the only one that knows. The trip is a surprise for my DS and the resort upgrade is a surprise for my DW. It's going to be hard not talking about everything with the people that I'll be traveling with.

Are you sure you DW will be Ok with that surprise? I know if my DH did that without telling me, I would KILL him. But I'm a control freak.

Just booked December 10-16 at Pop! This will be the third year running that we've done this week December. We just love it! Unfortunately, we have to do a split stay to get free dining. My TA requested that we keep the same room, but I guess we'll see if that actually occurs. Keeping my fingers crossed and saying some prayers! We've stayed in the 50's and the 70's in previous years, so this year we're requesting the 80's. So very excited!

Yes we were at CBR but we moved our trip up 3 weeks so we went back with pop. Was waiting to see if we would have the money for the upgrade since we moved the trip up so dd would miss school. Dh had to take some unexpected furlough days but it was way less than expected.

She'll be happy. I'm the planner when it comes to WDW. She loves to go and I love to plan. She just tells me what she would like and find a way to make it happen.

We booked POP for Dec 11-18. This will be our first time in December. How are the crowds during this time?

We did put in a room request, before we realized we would be arriving so early, but I pretty much just want any room as early as we can get it. I know that my boys are going to be tired and will need a nap. So, what do I do? Do I do the online check in? Do I call Disney and tell them about our situation and see if they can help me? Do I just arrive at Pop and do the check-in then and hope we get a room early?

Either way, online check-in or not, you should be fine. My guess is by the time you arrive at Pop, which I would guess would be around 10:30am or later, there may actually be a room ready for you at that time.

If not, your room will be assigned for you (either way) and you can be texted/called to learn when the room is ready for you.

How does Online Check-in work - we have a group of 5 rooms booked under a grand gathering - do they assign your rooms at online check-in? we have requested to keep close together and one pair of rooms to be connecting... does each family have to do online check-in separately or can I, as the lead, check-in everyone? tia

Don't sweat it. Even though check in is at 3, my room has always been ready before then. I've checked in as early as 8 am.

I remember last time entering my debit card information so that when I used my KTTW card it would go back to my room, and then onto my card. My question is will he be able to do the same when he arrives the day of the check-in? Thanks.

If he has his own room, yes, absolutely! If he is sharing a room then only one card can be used at a time. When I travel with friends we go to the front desk the night before check-out, have them print out the charges for each card and then pay each one. All KTTW have a number so they can show which card made which charges.

The last few trips we stopped leaving any card on file at all b/c we'd heard too many error stories about Disney and charges. A few years ago I had to get a new Disney Visa because Disney had charged me several times for the room.

I heard that too so I dont put my cc on my KTTW....you never know these days! lol
