Actually one more question...

On the phone I didn't specifically request transportation from the airport, although I did mention I would be flying in. Do I need to call/email back to let them know? Or is it assumed? When would I know/how would I find out, what times the Magic Transportation would be at the airport?

Like the PP said, you need to call back and specifically add DME to your reservation. They will need your flight numbers. They don't need the flight times because they use the numbers to figure it out for you.

There's no timed schedule for DME; you simply go to the DME area at the airport and the buses run constantly. The only time consideration is that the luggage service is for flights between 5am and 10pm only. If you arrive after 10pm you need to collect your own bags and bring them to DME.

Well, 10 days and counting...just completed online check in...so lets see where they put us....no special requests, just winging it. Last time at POR it worked perfectly. We got the first building next to the main building and bus stop. Keeping my fingers crossed~;)

Just called and added my room request. I asked for 60's as my first choice, followed by 70's for my second. I guess I will find out in 10 days. And I don't think I will do online checkin either.

We are just back, stayed at Beach Club this year, but had to go to POP to eat 2 nights. Going back to POP next year for 6 nights.

Pop's my favorite resort to stay at. I'll be there for my 40th anniversary weekend getaway in just a few weeks.

Yes, not very much counter service meals at BC and we have our favorites at POP we had to have.

We did the same thing a couple of years ago when staying at the Poly. Took a ride over to POP, walked around, then had a favorite lunch.:thumbsup2 Have spent far more trips at the Poly, but from 2004 to 2008 had 5 POP stays and the food court became an on property favorite.:goodvibes

We also went to the POLY for lunch 2 days for the pork sandwich, it is awesome. We are going to try to make it here at home this week.

One of the many reason I love staying on property - easily going to different resorts for food and/or shopping. We also like to visit the other resorts - especially the ones where we've had favorite stays, but for whatever reason have not stayed again in a while.:thumbsup2

Hope the pork sandwich comes out just like the Poly! :goodvibes

Sometimes I think we're staying at Pop just because of the food! My husband says their Shrimp Lo Mein is better than PF Changs! I've also heard raves about their beef & broccoli.

After doing the QSDP last year we just found it worked way better for our family. So we are doing it again this year and we love pop's food court.

I love POP's food court, there is something for everyone there. Next year it will be an all girls trip so I am sure there will be something they all like.

Speaking of Pop's food court, I have a question. While at Pop last week I noticed that for lunch they have a vegetable calzone, and for dinner the calzone is not offered, but the vegetable lasagna takes its place. Is this something new, or has it always been this way? I don't ever remember Pop having a vegetable calzone.

I am not sure, but we think we had the Vegetable Calzone when we were there is 2008, but there menu has changed, no more Rueban Flatbreads:sad1:

Can I mail a package to the resort of stuff? DD is going to start the College Program and we are staying there before she checks in. I am thinking about mailing a box there.

Has anyone done this? If so what did you write on the box?

This is good news!! DBF is worried that we won't have "anything" to eat at POP and it will all be bad mall food court/school cafeteria type food. He thinks we will be stuck eating all TS meals. I have been reading more and more about the good food there, I am pretty sure he can find "something." :lmao::rolleyes1
