My packing list for Disney was created in 1990 and has been kept edited with updates for 20 years!! Its outlasted many versions of Word. I've had baby stuff on the list, removed, re-added... removed again!!! If I keep the same list going, once something is added, as long as its relevant it stays on the list and I have a good chance of not forgetting it. I print my list the day before we leave, before that, its still getting edited on the laptop. I place my list on a clipboard, and check off items as their either packing into the suitcase or car. I review the list at least 10 times before we leave, and confirm all is packed. I have separate versions of the list for spring/summer an winter/fall trips. I have items designated as car only or airline only. I leave those on the list, and cross them out if they don't apply for a particular trip. Some items also only apply to DVC and some only to standard rooms.
Now.. here's my new concern and it doesn't have to do with lists. I read in post 1 of this thread, something about A/C units being set with motion sensors and you come back to your room and you find out the A/C was off while you were gone and its HOT!! In that case, it would go off while you slept!!

How horrible to wake up sweltering! Anybody know anything about this?
