I just stumbled upon your trip report. It's great so far! I have a 2 year old myself and she has been to Disney about 3 times as well. Landon is such a little handsome man!

I too am hoping to move to Orlando this summer. (Basically returning to my home state)

That certainly is big news! I am excited for you! We will be at WDW May 26th through June 4th and I am thinking about starting a thread for all of us traveling in and around those dates so that we could all meet up for a few minutes somewhere. I'll let you know if/when I start the thread.

You will love Animal Kingdom Lodge. I stayed there in May and booked again for December. It is really cool to get up in the morning and see what animals are hanging outside your room. I really enjoyed watching the giraffe cruise around. It's an awesome place.
By the way...enjoying your trip report. It sounds like you had a great time.

I cannot wait to see how Landon reacts to those animals! I actually stopped by once on my first trip and thought it was so gorgeous!!

I just found your TR. Landon is adorable. I don't know what little boys are like as I have two girls. I had to go back and skim through your previous PTR and TR's to catch up. Your first trip with Landon sounded fantastic. We always have done the dining plan and that is plenty food, I can't imagine doing the deluxe plan. That's funny, a Southern Louisiana girl talking about to much food, that's what we live for.

I LOVE football also, but not so much NFL. My family is College football fans, especially LSU. I'm so sorry that the Broncos have Tebow! Just kidding. We didn't like him to much because he played for Florida and that is one of LSU's rivals! If I had to pick a NFL team I guess it would be the Saints, have to support the local team.

I am a Disney fanatic and I am slowly turning my husband, Shannon into one also.

I am only on page 11, so I need to keep reading.

Thank you!! I definitely LOVE being a boy momma, but do want to have a little princess one day as well! I'm glad you enjoyed that last report, that was such a great trip!! I miss the deluxe plan...having that much food made me more willing to venture out and try new things! I would do it again in a heart beat and didn't think it was too much food, but also didn't try to clean my plate every meal!!

I'm working on getting into college football. I am ALL about my NFL. I love it so much. Your feelings on Tebow are okay...I'm used to them. Even people who are Broncos fans aren't crazy about him. Not all though...some people love him, some don't at all! Although, I have to tell you, I went to the Broncos/Chiefs game and pretty much every single time the Broncos are in the red zone, the stands start chanting for Tebow to come out. And I may or may not have managed to get people in the stands at a game to call me "Princess Tebow". Haha...yeah...I'm magical that way!! lol

Glad to hear you are still planning on more updates to this report. I am excited to read more. Congrats on your upcoming trip. May 31 is my daughter's birthday. She will turn 19 the day you leave. Last Saturday my oldest DS (22) agreed to go back with us for Christmas 2011. As soon as the 11 month window opens up I get to book a trip for all 5 of us at our home resort VWL. It may be or last trip as a famiily for a while as both of my boys will graduate from college in 2012 and who knows what will happen after that.

How exciting for your daughter to turn 19!! That was such a magical age!! (haha, says me in the ripe old age of 20. I do miss officially being a "teenager".) After enjoying “One Man’s Dream”, we decided to start heading over for lunch. I was dying for some Starring Rolls (which is the best, most creative name ever and I love it) so we headed that way. To get there, we had to pass in front of the hat. What is in front of the hat? Photopass photogs. What do I do when I see those guys? I take a magical pictures!!

We finally get to Starring Rolls and get those HUGE massive sandwiches. For our meal’s conclusion, we got those HUGE massive BUTTERFINGER cupcakes. I’m pretty sure Landon fell asleep during lunch. I don’t really know where my trip journal is at this morning…but I would bet money on it.

The sandwich was delicious. I might go back to Starring Rolls just for the sandwich if I happened to be in DHS. But do you want to know how freaking good those cupcakes were? They were so good that Dustin and I seriously considered NOT going to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow so we could come back and get more of those cupcakes. We considered using every single one of our snack credits to get as many of those cupcakes as we could. (And the only reason we didn’t do that is because Starring Rolls closes early at 4pm and we went back to get more after that.) They were so sinfully good that Dustin and I both agreed that if those dang cupcakes gave us diabetes, it would be worth it. They were so good that I was full from my sandwich and getting too full from my cupcake, that I just about cried not finishing it. They will change your life. Dustin and I still talk about those epic, legendary cupcakes to this day. (Silly Steph got tiramisu in a cup…) They were so good that this is the only time I snapped some food porn this whole trip.

After our amazing lunch, we head over to the Animation Academy!! I really, really wanted to take a drawing class! Since strollers lamely aren’t allowed in there, Dustin kindly sat with my sleepy boy while Steph and I went to go take one! Unfortunately, we had just missed the start of a class! So while we were waiting, we went to meet…LOTSO!!!! Yay!!

Okay…he absolutely sucks in the movie. He’s mean and I am so glad he is tied to a garbage truck somewhere (since Toy Story is very real). But…we had the BEST character interaction with him. Even though…he didn’t smell like strawberries. Sad day. BUT to make it already a little better, we had the same GREAT Photopass guy from earlier that morning when we took our ToT pics!! I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

He was just a hoot!! I loved him!! Maybe it’s because I’m not a new toy coming in? I don’t know. But it sure was magical!!

Then, much to my surprise, we see Mr. and Mrs. Incredible out with NO LINE!! I run to get Dustin and right after I send him, Landon wakes up!! And sadly, I don’t even know why Dustin and Steph’s pics aren’t on my photobucket…but they aren’t. I’m sorry!! But mine and Landon’s are!

And then…well…Landon needed a turn meeting Lotso!! So he and Dustin went together!! Landon really loved him and kept wanting to hug him, but he wouldn’t let go of Dustin! It was so cute. Back then, he hadn’t seen TS3 yet…I wonder if he would still love him so much!

It was such a great time!! Really…could this day get any better?!?! Why, yes it sure could!!

I have never been to Anamation Academy. I really want to try to next trip. Jaden, who is 10, really likes to draw, so I think she might really like it. Also, there seem to be great characters in that area.

As being the LSU football fan that I am, I noticed on one of your TR's that you have a picture of Landon with the TV in the background and an LSU football game is playing.

Starring Rolls is probably my all-time favorite CS at all the parks!! It does help that its in my favorite park! lol. It does stink that Lotso is evil!! Oh well!

Aw I bet Jaden would LOVE Animation Academy! Last year I drew Chip and it was just such a fun, great experience! They usually have the most current characters there plus Sorcerer Mickey too!! The Incredibles were such a surprise since they aren't that current!!

How funny that you noticed it was a LSU game!! I have the Denver Broncos so embedded into Landon's head, that anytime he sees football-be it on tv, flag football, or even just a toy of his-he shouts "GO BRONCOS!!"

Oh I realize I was going on and on about how good the cupcakes were so much that I forgot to give a decent description. Everything that is covered with that crumbled Butterfinger is a really yummy decadent frosting...then the cupcake is not just cupcake...there's a yummy chocolate center! It's somewhere between fudge and a molten cake. SO GOOD!!

Mmm! I wish I got a butterfinger cupcake! They look so so good. When we went to Starring Rolls they only had the chocolate butterfinger cupcakes left so I got the marble one instead. It was just ok and it was cold for some reason :/ Were yours?

Awww your Lotso pics came out so cute! I know he's mean and just plain evil in TS3 but he's so adorable in person! I feel bad for the CMs who have to be Lotso lol. I bet there are guests who aren't so nice to him because of his character in the movie.

Cute pics with Lotso! We noticed that the whole area over there smelled like strawberries in September, but Lotso himself didn't smell like them. Anyways.....those cupcakes look delicious! Once again, we didn't make it over to Starring Rolls in Sept, but we will next time!

Maybe they will add strawberry smell to Lotso. We didn't meet him, but I did wonder if he smelled like strawberries, too!
