I was jokingly begging Dustin to get some colored gel and I think he thought I was serious and settled on the pirate dust to satisfy me...and regretted it deeply. It was hilarious

What are you looking for for part-time?

First of all, congrats on getting the job!

I used to work as a server in a restaurant for about 6 or 7 years so I think I'm going to look into that part time for extra cash. NOT serving, I don't ever want to go back to doing that, I hated it toward the end but maybe just hostessing. It's easier and the hours aren't very long. I could probably do it a couple of times a week after I get out of my normal job. I faxed a resume for an ad I saw for receptionist work on Sundays 10-6 but I haven't heard anything back.

I'm the worst friend in the whole wide world. SOOOOOOOOO SORRY that I haven't made it over here before now! I promise you that I've thought about it a ton, but it's been a crazy 3 weeks because I screwed my back up again. But no excuses--I'm sorry!!

Sorry about the babysitting stuff. I know how much it upsets you when your mom does something like that. But it's probably best this way anyway... And that's awesome that you found that lady to keep Landon!! Do you know if you'll end up taking him somewhere closer to your new work or not?

Now...to the TR:

I CAN NOT BELIEVE how much bigger Landon is this year than he was last year! The airport pics are such a good comparison. He's such a little man now.

The pic of you and Steph at POP is adorable--and your hair looks great. OH MY WORD. I want to go back to Kona SOOOO badly!!! I completely agree about the butter. And yall ordered the same things Michael and I ordered! SOO yummy.

Hehe--that's so funny that the CM told you about their Obama CM joke! CMs really make the whole experience special at WDW. And I love that yall got to meet the Town Crier! I'm sure you just ate it up when he announced you and Steph! Your pic with the Step Fam is great, and I always love hearing about their comments.

And Landon's "Yummy Dance" sounds SOO cute! It was pretty random, but I went through a yummy dance phase this summer. I have no clue where it came from. I think I might still do it sometimes. I don't even realize that I'm doing it... The food is just THAT YUMMY! hehe.

Your Splash pics were GREAT! The one of you and Steph was especially great. You can tell you're having SO much fun. And I cracked up when I read about your party log and the "booty juice!"

Aw, that's awesome that the boys got haircuts together! And it's so cute that Landon had his first haircut there, and now he's back.

I've heard rumors that Mickey and Minnie are moving into one of the areas at the front (or they'll make one for them) after the Toon Town area is gotten rid of. But that's just a rumor...

Okay, so for Tim...he had requested a black F150 and we got one all decked out for him, but he ended up leaving with a blue F150 for whatever reason. I'm still super upset that I wasn't there when he was. I'm trying to figure out a way they would let me call him for something.

I'm currently looking for places for Landon. I will definitely have to find a new babysitter. The one he is going to now has to leave for work by 4:30 and since the new place is much further, there's no way I could make it.

The difference between Landon's first trip and this one was just monumental!! The physical difference didn't compare to how much he's grown mentally!!

I had so many great CM experiences! Man, I just miss Disney!! Even the little things like how they wave goodbye when you're starting your ride! I always wave back!

The boys getting their haircut together was really nice!! I'm glad they did it and Dustin was down for it!! It turned into quite a nice memory.

Hmm I don't know where Mickey and Minnie will go!! I did find Ariel later (since the grotto closed)!! And Pooh and Tigger!! (I read somewhere that this location was because of the expansion construction but I don't know where they were before.)

Hey guys!!

I put in my notice today!! It was very nerve-racking!! I had never quit anywhere before!! I gave a written notice and was a little scared!! I gave it to the office manager and she just said "okay". Then later I went into the general manager's office for something and he asked me where I was going and if it was a good opportunity for me and when I said yes, he wished me the best and thought he was happy for me. I thought that was nice.

So my last day at the dealership is September 10th-which, for the record, was the day I left for Disney World a year ago!! Apparently, it's just permanently a magical day!! And I start at the new one on September 13th!! Yay!! I'm thrilled!!

I also think I forgot to mention that during the interview that they have offices globally...and one of them is in Florida!! Perhaps this could be something to open doors down the road!!

After our gift shop fun, Landon started waking up. He was still a little sleepy so we wanted to do something he could go on that wasn’t over-stimulating!! We started walking towards THE FUTURE!!!! (haha…that’s Tomorrowland, if you couldn’t guess!)
We walked past these topiaries and Dustin wanted his picture taken while posing like them!

(I just realized that this is at least the 2nd time he’s copied what he was standing next to. He also did it with the Tiki guy! It’s funny because my great Dis-friend staci_kristine and her husband do this all the time!)
Stephanie wanted a picture by it too, but Dustin was being too weird that she kept looking at him instead of the camera!! I have a couple of shots like this and then gave up! And of course, he doesn't even look weird in the picture, but I assure you, he was being so!

Our next stop was…the PEOPLE MOVER!! And for everyone wondering if the name change back to the old one is official, I’m pretty sure it is. I have a picture (later in the week) of the sign at the bottom of the ride that says: “Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover”.
And yes…this reminds me of the Broncos. Our original stadium was Mile High. We got a new one and they attempted to call it Invesco Field and all the Broncos fans hated it so now its “Invesco Field at Mile High”. Lol.
Anywho…so we get on the ride. This was actually my first time riding it! I didn’t get around to it last year!! But I knew I had to try it, after hearing all the rave reviews from tink_gurl and MickeyIsBeast! Of course, we took pictures!! Landon sat on Dustin’s lap first!

About halfway through the ride, Landon wanted to sit with his mommy! Aw!! I love him! You guys know the parts with stars on this ride? Well…Landon learned how to say “space!” when he saw them! So heart-melting. He LOVED staring at the stars. In fact, I have a picture of him completely mesmerized.

My little hooligan!! HAHA!! Here’s a better one of us!

And of course, I had to take shots of Space Mountain and MY castle!

While we were on the ride, we saw a line gathering for one of Landon’s favorite characters. Can you guess who?! (I’m sure you guys can!! Haha!) We had wanted to ride around the PeopleMover again but when we saw him, we rushed off and into his line!! Would we make it in time?!
I’m going to have to cut it off here though…because those pictures are also on the PhotoPass cd I’m still waiting for. I just ordered it last Friday, so I’m hoping it hurries up!!

OMGosh guess what?!?!?!?! So...I currently work at a car dealership (until mid-September!!) and...TIM TEBOW GOT A CAR FROM US LAST NIGHT!!!!!! This would be much more exciting if I had met him...but alas, it was after I was off. I'm still pretty excited about it though.

Thats awesome that your new job could potentially land you in Florida. My company is based out of Denmark and our ONLY office in the US and caribbean is here in Maryland. So the only way I could end up in Florida is if I became a sales rep and they travel ALL the time. Not that traveling is bad, but it is when you have an 18 month old. What will you do in your new position??

It depends on the restaurant. Some hostesses just get hourly pay and some they get a lower base pay plus tip share. I've worked at restaurants that did both! I didn't mind paying out tip share to hostesses that helped out (bussed tables) but the one's who were just lazy... why are you taking my money???
