My daughter and I really enjoyed it. She's wild about Zendaya, I always enjoy Jackman's versatility, and everyone else was very good. I think I'll be hearing these songs for a long time to come.

I knew nothing about it going in, but I really enjoyed it. The cast was all pretty great and the music was fabulous. I was pleasantly surprised.

DH and I loved it. Great music and story. Even if it's not historically correct. It's just a such a good redemption movie.

Anyone looking for a fully fleshed out story needs to remember, it's a musical. Think Broadway where you never get a full story, just great entertainment.

Same here, and I'm not a musical kind of guy at all. I normally despise them. La La Land was hilarious but also had some really good dramatic moments.

DH and I saw it last week and really enjoyed it, although I think I liked it more than he did. I like Hugh Jackman a lot, and Zak Efron has really grown into himself since his High School Musical days. It was very energetic, and I was exhausted by the end of the movie!

We saw it yesterday and really liked it. I came home and ordered the CD, though it is back ordered at the moment, so I'll have to wait. (Yes, I still buy CDs and play them in my 13-year old car that has never heard of Bluetooth!) The theater was crazily packed, nearly every seat taken, and people applauded at the end. It made me so happy that people showed up in force for a musical! The story was a bit slow at times, but I loved the choreography and just the upbeat nature of the songs. It was great to be happy for two hours!

It was nice of Zac Efron to let Hugh Jackman be in his movie. I will love Zac Efron until the end of time.

haha...I also ordered the CD right after I saw the movie last week....keep checking my Amazon orders and still not in. I always still buy the physical CD to play in my car (without Bluetooth). I like having a "hard copy" of my music. I have Alexa playing the songs all day and they are real ear worms!!!

I am not a big fan of musicals and an even lesser fan of the Circus, however, I LOVED this movie. I was so into it and felt every note in every song. I cried several times...serious waterworks during "This is Me". As soon as we got in the car I downloaded the soundtrack from Amazon Prime music. I have listened to it several times. I am honestly shocked at how much I liked this movie and the soundtrack.

Saw it last week with the kids. My top movie for 2017. Many great values:Fidelity, being poor and working towards a dream and falling a million times and getting back up. Stuff we do not see in our society today. I have the CD and will buy the movie when it comes out.

The theater where we watched it was about 3/4 full, and clapped at the end. I went because my son wanted to see it (he is a big Zach Effron fan), but I did enjoy it as well.

I loved it precisely because it was a throwback to the glory days of the movie musical where you only had to be entertained and implausible storylines made no difference.
