The great wolf lodge code worked fine!

I know the thread was deleted, but wanted to update that we got back today after a GREAT time at the lodge with no problems with "the code" . Didn't even bat an eye at us! So thanks to the diser that provided it (even tho it was against the rules). Our bill said "Spalshtacular savings" when we checked out and then our $99 rate. So, wanted to let you all know we made out fine! Have fun to the rest of you with trips coming up!

ArielRae had room issues at the Pocono location as well as disappointment with the Animatronic show. We go in a few days & hoping for a better room experience.

why is it against the rules? wasn't it a code available via a internet search? i know i found it that way before i saw it on here....i don't recall it being a targeted code.
i ask because last year i posted one here that was being broadcast by my local radio station, and if they announce a promo this year...am i allowed to post it???

The code was removed because it was not a public code -- I would think a radio announced code is definitely "public"

We stayed and the KC one. Room was clean and great. Service top notch. Waterpark was a blast! Paying $99 was the icing on the cake! I guess the thread was shut down because the Mods thought it was a private code, or person specific code??? I would think a radio station code would be fine since everyone is hearing it! I just am so thankful for that code! We finally could go and our family didn't want to come home! Tons of fun - especially since Disney is out of the cards this year! Also wanted to say that the lifeguards were the most attentive I have ever seen! They were pacing back and forth the whole time with their eyes glues to the water. We felt very safe - especially since DS7 is apprehensive about swimming. I hope everyone else has a great time on their trips!

We stayed at the Poconos location and had a great time and not a single mention of the code. Only issue was the buffet which was horrible.

I was the OP of the original code. Certainly didn't mean to "break the rules". I too got it from another site after an internet search. When it worked for me- I just assumed it was a good code. We are going in a couple of weeks. Glad you had a good time.

The code is no longer valid.

My husband just called and they said it is valid......

The original code was one word..the new one is two. I'm not sure which one you gave, but the old one no longer works. The new one says "alumni only" whereas the old one said "alumni and friends". Not sure what kind of proof you need with the new one, so I would ask before booking.

I would say older! When our son was 4 1/2 we went. He was a good swimmer, but we still made him wear a life jacket. It's a big place with water everywhere! Once your kids are older, taller and can swim, you'd have a blast!

When I called the Great Wolf Lodge, they said the old code was no longer valid. I googled the new code and it works online at Great Wolf's website. I'm trying to decide whether to use it. When you put in the promo code it says nothing about being an alumni or having to show proof, so there's no way they can make you show anything. But I know that is what the code is intended for. But $99...that is such a great price!
