The Great Movie Ride Question

There hasn't been any FP availability for The Great Movie ride on May 3 since our 60 days out and I'm pretty sure that's not one of the rides that normally fills up..... I know this ride will be getting refurbed sometime this year but haven't seen any dates yet. It looks like Touring Plans also has some holes in dates when FPs are available. Does anyone know or have any guesses if it is going to be closed for our visit? Thanks!!

I haven't seen anything and if I'm not mistaken, it was refurbished somewhat recently...

Just checking - you're not trying to select it along with another tier one ride, right?
It's allowing me to pick a time for it along with 2 tier 2 attractions...

On Wed. 4/8, was a walk on after first Fantasmic, right at Park closing. Had long waits over 30 mins that afternoon.

Oh my gosh I was definitely trying to select it with another tier 1! Didn't even occur to me that would be considered a tier 1 ride. I could be mistaken AGAIN but I don't remember seeing it when I originally selected FPs either and it's still missing from Touring Plans altogether on some days, not sure what that's about. Oh well, hopefully I'm overcomplicating things and it will be fine.

mc-hokie - Thanks for suggesting going after Fantasmic, now that they added a second show and the park will be open later I think we will try that!

Another thing you can try, if you're in HS for the day and your three FPs aren't at night, is go to a kiosk after you use the last one and see if you can pick one up as a fourth for GMR .... Something tells me there will be some availability of its not an overly crowded day.
