I"m here now. Just got back from a trip to Houston. We brought DS to his first Major League baseball game. We lasted about 1 hour and had to leave. He was CRANKY!!! Oh well, maybe next time. We did have a good time at the downtown Aquarium and the zoo the day before.

So, as I said before, FJ had an idea to play "where's flat jordan".....you know, like "where's waldo"?? He took off and we started to find him in all sorts or inconspicuous places.

We headed over the International Gateway bridge....

Into France....

On this day I skipped the Grey Goose slush martini since I was still feeling pretty good from the Octopus Juice. We just slowly walked around WS checking out all of the cool exhibits that were set up for the flower & garden festival. They had so many cool things that you could do with your yard. Little places for the kids to play and examples of how to set these things up. They had samples of what you could do with your garden, etc. It was great!! Here are pictures from these exhibits.....

An outdoor kitchen setup...

One of the many play area exhibits set up. I love the DuPont recycled rubber "mulch". You can use it for the playground or the flower garden!

This chair would spin around. DH had to save DS because he had already lost control and couldn't stop it! LOL!!!

Eventually we find ourselves in Japan. FJ was super excited to see the "mother land" and he went a little crazy in there! Here are the pic's from his adventures in Japan....

Next we move on to America!!

There was a concert going on at this time. It was either The Searchers or The Tokens.

The music was good but we didn't stay. It was crowded and HOT! We moved a little further and came to another shaded area with more exhibits set up.....

It was really cool how they incorporated the plants with the play areas. It was like the kids had their own secret hide outs or something. A big hit!!

Going through another tunnel....

Into another secret hideout with chairs carved from tree trunks....

I thought this was clever.... A pizza slice shaped garden filled with everything to season a pizza with!!

I'm in the Boston area and it's been 95 here the past 4 days, so I'm expecting about the same, but thought I'd check from someone who had been there fairly recently!

I think it was around 92-94 all week. That's not unbearable for us since we also live in the south. It's just magnified by the cement and lack of breeze in a lot of places. We have agreed that next time we go when it's hot that we will spend time in the pool and do a water park!

Worth waiting for Blue !! Awesome pix ! I saw on another TR they had a Butterfly exhibit . I didn;t see that last year and DGD would love it! Wre were there for the flower & garden fest last year .QAs it was our first trip we really didn't know that Epcot wasn't always like that !! Loved all FJ's antics , he really is a "naughty Peep" !!

I agree about that chair! All he did was sit on it. It was sort of on a little incline so it whipped around and he couldn't stop it. DH had to run and grab it. He would have flown off if we didn't stop him. I've never seen those before.

We did see the butterflies. It was great but there wasn't too many hatched just yet.

My senior year of college I worked at a community garden for my Community Service class. One of the parts of our project was the Pizza garden. So fun. (we also made lip balm, honey, hand salve, olive oil, and other natural products)
