The Great Disney Debate

So this week on a Universal podcast, of all places, the topic is The Great Disney Debate. They're going to pit a Universal fan against a disney fan and see who wins. They also have a phone line open where they are going to let people call in and give their opinions about Universal, disney or even their show. I think I'm going to call up and bash it all...why even debate it...we all know which park is the best.

I think that's ridiculous. People who like the "Disney atmosphere" like it for their own reasons. The people who like Universal like it for their reasons. No reason to debate. Live and let live.
Having been to both parks we found them to be completely different.

I agree. . why does it have to be a debate!

We, personally, prefer Disney. . .and definitely spend more time/money there. However, we have been to Universal several times and enjoyed what they had to offer as well! And I am sure we will go back. Why does it always have to be one or the other? Can't we all just get along?

The whole thing sounds fun though, I was listening to one of the shows. It's more about that, showing the other side what the other has to offer. I still say people should call in and say their peace.

I was invited to be on this a few months ago. I think it's just another Universal ploy to bash WDW. Maybe someday they'll get a little class. For now, they obviously are feeling defensive.

Bottom line: Go wherever you enjoy going and don't worry what everyone else is doing.

I've done a little research, and boy are you wrong. Its a Universal podcast, that is true, but these guys talk about every park equally, even inviting folks to come on say whatever they want. I spent a restless night listening to the shows, and not really once did I hear disney bashing.
That debate show is up, and I think all disney fans need to listen.
