Some of you know that I have been having major trade problems because of too many pins and costumes in my inventory. I wrote VMK about my problem, and they told me to put all my furniture in my rooms. I asked them which room should I put my pins in?

I was talking with Disvaclub today and she suggested that I put all of my pins and costumes in my quest machine to store them. It took me about three hours. Now my trade window works just fine!

That is one expensive closet! I bought mine when they were 20,000 credits.

So if you are having problems with too much inventory and have a quest machine sitting around, use it as a closet.

Thank you so much Disvaclub for the idea! :woohoo:

hey just be careful and keep screen shots of all of your pins, I think tikikrissy had a problem with her quest kiosk a ton of pins disappeared..

I had heard of people doing this but never tried it. What is its maximum capacity though? I was thinking furniture I can jam a room with 250 + pieces, had forgot about pins and clothing.

Warning!!!! Quest Prizes aftar 175 will all be lost! I had a total of 325 pins put in for a MGM quest and when i came back it only went up to 175th. I was not angry but was glad i had found out then

OMG what a GREAT idea.....thanks I simply hate to carry so much stuff around. I never use my quest machines what a great use for them!

:dancer:

thanks

I would like to hear from others about the amount bug though.

To curb my buying mentality in September, I put a ton of credits in my Quest Kiosk.

Works as a Bank too! :teeth:

Ok I just logged in and all my stuff is still there.

I used 100 prizes, 20 pins on each for a total of 2000 pins stored.

I took back all my costumes just in case. I don't want to lose those.

I kept one of each pin on me.

I would like to hear from anyone else that may have lost anything on the quest machine. Did VMK do anything for you?

I just have another character and have that character hold all my extra pins.

Argh! I don't have a quest machine, but DO have the pin problem. I can only hold two more pins. Not exactly sure what I am going to do. Hopefully VMK will help us out!

You clearly have better anger management skills than I.

Disvaclub told me about doing that, too. I have a similar issue with my
pins!

But how many items can we put per line item in the machine? I just
assumed 3 items per line, and I have a LOT of prize lines set up.

If I'm able to load many items per line, I think it would be a little easier.

That's genius!

I wish I had bought another kiosk now. How many people are doing this and how widespread are the "disappering" inventory problems. Can anyone confirm the 175 item problem?

Yes!!! As Peasy said, I lost AT LEAST 44 pins. (Good stuff too, all my Valentine's Day, In-Game and In-Park Quest Pins, Food series pins, VMK
Birthday, and WDW Hotels series). VMK said they were still in my Inventory when I used the Contact Us. I would SERIOUSLY CAUTION anyone who wants to use a quest machine for storage. I can absolutely verify that more than 120 lines was the "point of no return" for me.

I used Contact Us twice, both times received this reply:

Hi there,

We have checked our records and the item(s) you mention are in the account.

Thanks,

PS If anyone wants, I can post the entire text of my Contact Us?? Not sure if it's appropriate to do here.

That is awesome! I even "organized" my closet by pin set so I can find what I need, when I want it. Maybe I should do that with my real closet... Nah!!!!

Thanks for sharing the idea Fly :thumbsup2

I too have been having major trade problems lately :sad2:. But my trade problems seem to be room related also. I can not do a trade in the pirate treasure room, music game room or any really busy room.

I have been putting furniture in storage rooms but that hasn't helped so far.
I will have to try storing some of my pins.

Remember when we used to do the Staff Room Quests. They had up to 100 prizes. That Quest Kiosk took forever till you could actually begin that quest. So I would not recommend going over 100 winners. Each line item houses 20 items. So easily 100 winners 20 items per row you have 2000 items. Also, organize your pins by series that way if you need to trade or need it quickly, it is easy to find. All you have to do is cancel the winner and it is back in your inventory.

I have helped a few friends with this idea. Trading with them was painful and often they crashed. I have actually sent this suggestion to VMK to somehow modify the existing Quest Machine to become a store room for clothes and pins. That way, you can easily see it - instead of scrolling the 20 items you have for that winner.

Yes, please bring back the quest machine. I need another one.

u do know u can store lots of stuff on I prize don't u i play a quest that had about ten stuff for the first prize
