Up late decorating DD's birthday cake...she will be 7 tomorrow...my how the time flies It seems like yesterday I was finding out I was pregnant.

Thinking of you all....Hadley??? I hope your at least in lurk mode? Some others we haven't seen much of lately either I hope all is well for you all.

What a great cake. Im not too good with cakes but will probably be making my nieces for her birthday next month.

I havent seen too much activity here either. We had snow yesterday after it had been 70 degrees on Sunday. Its supposed to get back up in the 60's today... can't believe this freaky weather.

We've had odd weather this week as well. It was almost 80 on Sunday and then snowed off and on all day yesterday.Today it's back to being sunny and is supposed to warm back up by the end of the week-just in time for hunting eggs.

IAHD-good job on the cake.My DD is turning 6 in May so I feel your pain. They grow up so fast. I have to come up with some sort of party/cake idea. I'm trying to talk DH into surprising her with an overnight trip to Great Wolf Lodge and NOT do a party at all. Do you think a 6 year old would be satisfied with that and not having an official party? I could make a cake and take it with us and pick up pizza somewhere nearby.

I too can feel the pain. in May, my DD will be 16!! Time does go by so fast. I have enjoyed each and every minute watching this baby become the bright beautiful amazing young lady she is today.

At 6, I think your DD will do just fine without the 'official' party. cake and pizza sound amazing to me - especially if you are going away.

Ive stopped applying for house parties. At one point I got nearly every one i signed up for. As the word got out (and man it did)... i'd say ive applied for over 15 and not accepted to one. Its almost like a waste of time for me to apply now.

I haven't gotten one in a long time either. I think the last one I got was the Living Green House Party where I got a bunch of seed packets. But I just got The Clairol one where you get a bunch of coupons for free boxes of hair color. I am very excited about that one. Hopefully my luck is changing and I will get some more. I also just got two cans of diet mountain dew from Bzzzagent and a coupon for a free 12 pack of cans.

Well you guys are doing far better than me. I think my last one was either Scholastic or Disney Cruise Line- needless to say, its been a while. Wait.. i think it was the Ford Warriors in Pink-- that was it!

Do any of you have any bags of Hills Science Diet laying around the house- and wont be using the UPCs? If so... would you PM me the numbers!? Random thing to ask, i know! lol
