Weird. They sat there saying "stay in it" etc. but ditched out after 3 months? If they supposedly still love and respect each other why wouldn't they stay in it for longer. "We can't decide where to live, so we're going to divorce." Seriously? They expect us to buy that? Apparently their contractual obligations were over?

TMZ just said they talked to people close to the couple who said the lovebirds NEVER lived together at all, even when they were engaged or married.

And Gerry filed for divorce today in his home state of Indiana. And he listed the date of separation as TODAY.

A marriage is more than living together. However, they really should have figured things like where they were going to live BEFORE they got married.

Nightline on ABC had an additional clip of the interview. Gerry said that his 90+ year old father lives just 45 minutes from him in Indiana (or SC?) He doesn't want to move away from him. Meanwhile, Theresa's daughters live near her in NJ, and at 70 years old, she doesn't want to move and be far away from them. That's when they decided that what would be best for each of their individual happinesses, it would be best to go their separate ways.

Agreed. I can handle direct skills competitions (like the singing or baking ones) but I can't stand the "vote off your friends" or "compete for love in front of the camera" type shows.

The whole thing is kind of ridiculous. I'm sure they could have figured something out if they were truly in love. Some time spent in his home, some in hers. They got their ratings I guess and now they are done.
