Has anybody else seen the 2020 documentary about The Go-Go's? I just stumbled upon this recently and had the chance to see it. I really enjoyed it. I am also loving their new song "Club Zero". They still have it after all these years.

I was a big fan of the Go-Go's and many of the SoCal bands like Oingo Boingo, Sparks, etc. The new song sounded great until the "Zero blank given" line which just managed to ruin the song for me. I found it out of place and completely unnecessary and I'm just not into hearing foul language like that.

I love the Go-Gos and Oingo Boingo!

I found it fascinating. I was a bit glad I was a tad too young to get more into them other than a casual radio/Mtv listener. As a huge "goody goody" I think I'd have been devastated to hear of all their antics. I was, of course, oblivious at the time and only heard of some stories as an adult.

I watched it, I think the day it came out. I was in my very early 20s when they hit it big and, I dunno, I like them but not wild about them.

I found the documentary interesting and surprised at some of it. I had heard YEARS ago that they behaved very much like a "guy" band with regard to groupies and such. I was hoping like most documentaries that delve more into the salacious stuff. What can I say--I'm bored! :P

Haven't seen it (don't have Showtime), but I grew up on the Go-Go's.

Anyone remember which Go-Go was Joan of Arc in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure?

Haven't seen it yet but hope to see it streaming someplace in the future besides Showtime (no offense to Showtime, I just pay for too many streaming services already).

There's a good Behind The Music episode on the Go-Gos that you can probably pull up on YouTube.

....I watched it also, and was surprised that "We Got the Beat" was portrayed as played/popular/released before "Our Lips Are Sealed" came out.

I'll have to check that out, I had no idea they were still making music.

I watched some of it, need to finish watching. I was a huge Go-Go's fan back in the day. My friends and I used to double-jump at recess to my Beauty and the Beat cassette, back in elementary school.

I finally got to see them in concert a few years back at Universal of all places. The crowd was less than enthusiastic but I danced all night!

I have a 3-inch CD single of Our Lips are Sealed somewhere. I bought it back in the late 80s when those were available mostly for older songs. I found a photo of it although I'm not sure why the front image is so much smaller.
