I can't say I have that problem but I totally get where you're coming from!!! I mean WHAT is the point of learning about the same thing forever rather than learn about different things all the time?

I mean personally...I think we should be able to pick our own books...I don't like it when the teachers pick a book for us because if the kids aren't interested in the book...then they are more likely to cheat on the assignment or not read the book...and they won't have a lot of input in class discussion. I did that because this year I had to read Anne Frank and I'm TOTALLY not interested in the Holocaust (IMO) so I didn't read the book...I just flipped through the pages to find the answers.

Agreed!
With any subject it's annoying!

I did that with Animal Farm.
OMG. I could NOT read that book for the life of me.
I tried, I got 2/3 done with it, I just could not finish it I kept falling asleep.
I mean, I enjoyed To Kill A Mockingbird...but...Animal Farm?

Ugh.
I love books! I really do!

AND, in elementary school they always said "read a book thats on your reading level" well there has been some stuff that we've read that is far below my reading level, or above my reading level.

If they gave us a choice, then I could read one that suits me better. To extend my vocabulary or just plain knowledge of the subject.

merry christmas??
exactly how long did that nap I took last...?
HAHA!

hahaha! a pretty long time!
no, I just picked a random smiley to post. No one ever picks the Santa when it's not Christmas. haha

It was amazing! I had VIP seats sooo it was the best.
He's way better in person and he's really good with the crowd (:
It was sooo much fun. The bands in the opening act were pretty good, but nothing could compare to jason.
It was one of the best things i've ever been to!

Have fun at your concert!

I heard Jason and Bushwalla sang Lucky together at Jones Beach...I told my sister he would totally do that. My concert was really good, started off slow and the speakers didnt sound great but still an awesome night. I wish Bushwalla played more of his songs though.

Hey, can you guys help me with something? Can you keep some of these kids in your thoughts?

Kenny is 17. (I think)
Keaton is 12/13.
Nick is 19.
Savannah is 10.
Sammie just turned 12.

These kids are all exhausting their options, due to cancer - the same kind I had. Savannah and Nick are at M.D. Anderson in Texas, Keaton is in the Phillipines (desperate for a drug that hasn't been approved yet in the US), and Sammie has been on Hospice for the last 3 months.

I didn't want to post this as a thread because people say I talk about cancer too much, but whatever. Just keep them in your thoughts? If you want, they do have caringbridge pages if you want to leave them a message. Just PM me if you want it.

-------------

Anyway. I can't sleep. And I reallllly need to get back into my school routine so my alarm is at 700am even though I'd have to get up around 6ish.
I drove on the highway today, my dad keeps yelling "you'll flip a car over with those jerky movements!". So, anyone wanna share how to keep "swift" movements while traveling at 70mph?

A - I will keep those kids in my prayers!!
B - I probably still make jerky movements while travelling 70mph, but just remember to pay attention to the road, and not let the car drift. Thats what I was told in drivers school.

Hey there
