This is gonna be a long post..haha
And hi everyone!
I hate tampons. I just don't feel protected with them. I had to use one for a waterpark on Saturday (even though I really wasn't due =@) and I spent my whole time worrying that something would go wrong xD
The only thing I don't like about tampons, is how they can leak. In the beginning, I can be pretty heavy, and I feel like I need to wear a pad along with the tampon just incase I leak. Even with the ones with the "anti-leak protective string" or whatever, I still get nervous about it leaking.
Had it since...the end of 5th grade going into 6th.
Its been 4 years now, and there is NO WAY im using one.
Too freaked out.
I already do that with pads...I worry every waking moment...and yet people say "Well thats the beauty of tamps...no worry" and im like "wrong, yes worry"
Theres just so many things that could possibly go wrong...
and then that weird syndrome you can get...
I got mine at the same age you did, the very end of 5th grade.
But seriously, tampons are not scary once you use them. It's obvious how they go in, they slide in and out easily, and they can't get sucked up into you.
The worst that could happen, besides TSS, is the string breaking off. But that RARELY happens, especially with brand names ones. The store brand ones are made cheaper, so they COULD break easier.
But the tampon isn't up there far, so it's easy to just take your fingers, and pull it out.
But I totally understand where you are coming from. It took me a while to use tampons. I was like 16 or 17. And even now, I still prefer pads over tampons, just because pads are quicker to change, and I have so much practice with them...lol
I know, right!? I have huge hips! I'm most definitely a pear!
But actually, I'm growing to like them, and unlike stick-like woman. I think curves are so beautiful and attractive now.
Toxic Shock Syndrome? I think you have to have had the tampon in for like 2 days before you have a chance of getting that. And lol, there's no way you can lose it up there.
So, I just figured it out, and I haven't had my period for 40 days. I was hoping I was on a 40 day cycle, but I guess not. I always get my period in the morning, so I have no clue what kind of weird cycle I'm on.
I'm about to leave for my uber uber boring algebra class! Ugh, my teacher barely speaks english, and I don't understand what he's saying anyways, hahaha. I think a bunch of us are going to meet up with my last semester's algebra teacher and have her try and explain somethings to us.
ITA!! Curves are wonderful now that I'm older. Back in middle school I was so ashamed of my hips. Now that I'm getting closer and closer to being an adult (AHHHH!!!!

) and having kids, I love my hips..haha
