im feeling like my sister is stealing my best friend. they have recently discovered that they have very similar interests. my sister talks to her more than i do. i know they both love me and its great that they get along but it just hurts. it always seems like my sister steals my friends.

That sounds hard. I've never had first hand experience with that because my siblings closest in age to me are boys so its obvious we have different friends.

Have you ever talked to your friend and told her how you felt about it? She may not even realize what she's doing. I'm sure she isnt intending to be hurtful.

my sister's 2 years older and we hang out in the same group of people.

i dont feel like i can really talk to her about it. im afraid i might sound whiney. they already know that i dont like to be around them when they talk about stuff im not really into, which seems to be alot.
