The GH Official Thread Part 3

It's pretty easy to do. I'm not sure if this is how everyone does it, but I type what I want to say, highlight that text, and then click on the 3 vertical dots at the top of the "reply" box (next to the smiley face). Then another menu bar appears and you click on eye-with-slash icon.

I've gotten into the habit of not reading this thread until I'm completely up to date on viewing episodes because I'm afraid I'll see a spoiler (though it's not a big deal to me if I do see one...just prefer to try and watch the shows first).

Maybe we can start to get the regular posters to start using the "spoiler" option when we post something major about an episode that is less than 48 hours old???? Just a thought and not directed at anyone.

Thank you for telling me how to do it. I've belonged to the Dis for 20 something years and never realized it could be done, lol

I don't get why they did that to Dex. It seems like they spent a long time building him up as a character only to suddenly eliminate him. We learned that he had a rough childhood, joined the military, maybe had a need for attention and acceptence from a father-figure which spurred him to work for Sonny. Then he and Joss broke up over who he was becoming, so he left Sonny and hit the straight and narrow by joining the police academy. The scene when they were decorating Joss and Trina's Christmas tree provided a little more insight into his past trauma. It felt like they were going to develop him more as a character and then he was just gone. Makes no sense.

Ned tried to get the game on TV but discovered the cable was out, so everyone continued to watch it on their phones. Then Michael said he could stream the game from his phone to the TV. Tracy came in and insisted they turn the game off, so she grabbed Michael's phone. In an effort to turn off the game, she accidently brought up the nannycam video of Drew and Willow on the floor of the nursery. No one meant for it to happen, but Ned and Tracy were quite amused when it did!

I think Cyrus stabbed Dex and then gave him digitalis in the hospital, same as he did to Sam. Dex had earlier warned Cyrus that he was going to be watching him, so Cyrus wanted him out of the way. Just my theory.

I felt the same way like we were about to get some back story on Dex or maybe even a family member to give him some connections in town

So a couple of weeks after Dex came on the show I was talking to my friend and we were both like he has to have a connection to Port Charles, I said maybe Jaggers son, he had not been around Scotty so it could have been. They could have made him Holly & Roberts son but then who could have Michael slept with-I feel the whole reason for Sasha being their kid.

They never developed Dex's character. He was just some guy that popped into Port Charles who was working for Michael against Sonny, then Michael changes his mind and they have no where to go with Dex. Making him a cop was just ridiculous after him being an enforcer for Sonny. Then all him and Joss did was have sex, which is fine, but again, his character was never developed, all superficial stuff.

I thought the video was gonna pop up as soon as he casted his phone to the TV.
But its like how did it happen when Tracy was messing with the TV? Or was she holding his phone I'm not even sure?

Glad its out in the open now but Michael should have immediately confessed to his revenge sex. Since he didn't he is now a hypocrite.
And I love Sasha but she's acting high and mighty now too when she's having Michael's baby!

I think Nina overreacted because she doesn't understand that Michael can be a very reasonable person especially with Willow but I do understand her fears but she did just make everything worse especially since Carly found them.

Carly needs to go to her daughter right now though!
Poor Dex is he really leaving? I love him.
Freaking Cyrus! I can't believe he's able to slip into everyone's room to turn off vents and give lethal med doses!
Why the heck has he not been trespassed from the hospital unless its for medical reasons?

Same. Most of the time I'm able to watch it later on the website but depending on what I'm doing I may not get to. I was behind by 2 days this week from just being busy and going out.

I would also like Cyrus to disappear forever. He's just creepy. The actor is fabulous, though.

I'm torn because I do enjoy the way GH tends to have the villains move in the shadows because it keeps you guessing for a while but I also like when they do things out in the open so at least everyone knows and could more easily attempt to stop him.
I find it weird how many people die on the show that have their storyline disappear right with them. Like the doctor. I'm sure Cyrus had him killed and they just kinda dropped the investigation. Just like John Cates. I just don't understand why they write things this way.
Is it like when you have class of kids come up with a story one line at a time so you have no clue what direction its going in next?
One team of writers goes so far and then leaves it up to the next team as to where they want to take it?

Well I'm sure Esme and Spencer are alive so that will spice things up SOMETIME.
I wonder if Gio and Jos will get close and Trina and QB1 get close then when Spencer comes back he'll be brain washed into being with Esme but eventually will end up back with Trina.
Then that will keep Esme a villain trying to get in between them every chance she gets.
And she is a good villain!

Faith was one of my favorites in the way of baddy lol. And Olivia Jerome. And Claudia just for the fact she used to be Carly.

At least Lulu coming in stopped Tracy and Ned's cringey exchange with Drew.

Carly was overstepping.
Not to say Nina wasn't overstepping but she was doing it out of fear not anger like Carly.
Glad Willow/Nina had not left before Michael got there but yeah its between Michael and Willow.

Joss and Dex was so sad and a well done scene.

Anyone else think something is up the way we kept seeing Jason's face?
Like I know Cyrus is supposedly overdosing/killing enemies but some of the quick looks at Jason's face makes me feel like its foreshadowing that he knows what's up and feels bad he's putting people through this when their loved ones aren't actually dead???
IDK maybe I've watched people that were dead not be dead one too many times that I'll never believe it anymore haha.

I agree, but I felt like Joss should have been left alone with Dex to say goodbye. Having Jason there, lurking in the doorway, was kind of creepy and felt like an invasion of her privacy.

But see I feel like him doing that was for a reason... Like he knows Dex is not actually dead or something... And Jason looking like OMG I feel bad that I'm making Joss think he's dead was a signal to the audience... But I could just be crazy haha.
