I just don't get the thinking, especially since it's Nina. Maybe another character I could believe doing this. I get she was mad at Carly, but she isn't just hurting Carly, like someone pointed out, it's his kids too, grandkid. Nina's character would have overlooked her disdain of Carly and just told her. It's so dumb and we all know how this is going to end, Sonny will remember his life and will hate Nina, Nina will be like always me. Carly will be on her high horse and insist Nina never see Wiley and honestly that would be a legitimate reason.

I think the former one may not have been 'mature-looking' enough for what they wanted him for. The former one always came across as younger than he was. JMO

I agree. The previous actor who played Spencer is still very young looking. There's no way he looks old enough to have graduated high school. If they hadn't "speed aged" Spencer, the previous actor would have been fine to continue the role since he's actually the same age as the character (before the aging). But to push the Spencer character ahead in age by 3 or 4 years, they *had* to change actors....which is sad for Nicholas Bechtel, but he seems to be taking it like a champ. I'm ok with the new actor (though I also loved the old one -- thought he portrayed the character very well.)

Usually, I don't mind SORAS but I really liked how old "Spenser" reacted with Uncle Sonny among others. And how impish and clever he was in an innocent way. The new one is conniving and cruel - at least for now.
Or is he going to show the cruel Cassadine side.

I actually thought the young Spencer was a brat (a very well-played brat, but a spoiled conniving brat nonetheless). I think older Spencer is acting exactly like younger Spencer would act as a young adult. I see many glimpses of young Spencer in his behavior. It will be interesting to watch his older character unfold.

I hope he is alive. I like a good villian. I miss Faith Roscoe, Helena even Edward was a great Bad guy sometimes.

I really hope he's dead. He was a good villain but I was getting tired of his story line. I'm ready to move on to a new villain. But now I'm trying to figure out who would have taken Peter's body....

That's the thing, who would take his body. Could it be Valentin? I don't know what reason he would have for doing that or could Drew be back in town and he took it for some reason.

Cassadines like to bring dead people back to life. They probably have Peter on ice somewhere while they figure it out. Maybe they’ll kidnap his cousin Robin and force her to do it. She has experience after bringing Jason back.

My first thought was Valentin but like you, I couldn't figure out why he would do it. Drew is a good thought because we all know he's not dead and will eventually show up in Port Charles again. I also thought about Austin but not sure what his motivation would be either. Or maybe they're just going to leave this whole "Is Peter really dead?" thing hanging in the air for the next few years....just like the Drew thing. I still don't understand why Finn & Elizabeth didn't just leave Peter in the stairwell for someone to find...or even pretend that they just stumbled across him there.

I thought that too, they could have just claimed they found him, but I guess there would be no story there lol.

The longer they leave Peter's death uncertain the longer they leave Baily/Louise with Brook Lynn giving Valentin longer to bond with "his" daughter so that will become a whole other story. Maybe Alex took Peter??? They never did recover her body AND she is his mother???? Let's face it, they can make up anything they want in Soap Opera land AAANNNDDDDDD Can we please move on with the Sonny nonsense. We get it, he and Nina are falling for each other, don't need to hammer it in any more. Let's just get to the fallout, there's enough to go with now. Enough people are playing their own games so they will have to accept Nina's deceit.... let's go already

I didn't think of Alex, but if he was dead she would have needed help to drag him out of there, leading more to him being actually alive. I agree about Sonny, he needs to find out who he is. Of course he will be mad at Nina, but I wonder if after the dust settles he realizes he loves Nina more than Carly. Honestly, the character of Sonny has never seemed happier. In a way I hope he does stay with Nina.

I just hope that if/when Sonny does finally return to Port Charles, Carly doesn't greet him with arms. After all, when he had amnesia, he was wearing a wedding ring, yet he made no effort to find the family that he'd left behind and was grieving his absence.
