I'm just getting tired of all of it. It's obvious that the actors are too, some are just going through the motions (although IMO that's ALL MB does. Man has one facial expression) Ava had potent ion but has become as cartoon like as Claudia was. Dang is Sonny that good that everyone just drops in his presence? Loved Mac's little summation to Franco about the effect Sonny has on all of the women in PC.
Sad situation when I look forward to Obrecht and her snarkiness. Loved her powepoint presentation to Britt. Nina has now become FF worthy, along with stupid Tracy.

And puhleese...... put Rafe behind the wheel again and let him run over Levi and get him out of there, along with that stupid nurse of Nina's!

I have a week's worth of GH saved, and I don't think I've ever been this far behind when I wasn't on vacation. It's just hard to make myself watch. I am really close to giving up. Although I FF so much lately, I guess in a way I already have. Very discouraging and unless something really hooks me soon I think I might be done. I am tempted to try to hold out for Billy Miller. Once when I left GH for awhile I was into the CBS soaps and I enjoyed him as Billy Abbott, but that was literally a very long time ago.

I think it's time to admit the Franco character just really doesn't work and do a murder mystery. I love RH, but this is just not working for anyone.

I agree. They took a character who was created by and for James Franco, and recast him. They closed the door for the real James Franco to ever come back. It would be better to put the character on the shelf and wait for the rare occasions when the real Franco could film for a week or so. That's what made Franco so cool. You never knew when he would appear and what he might be up to.

I am new to this show - I started watching because Billy Miller will be joining the cast soon. But I'm not enjoying the story lines. I hate mob/syndicate and drug stories and never liked Michelle Stafford's character in Y&R. She is playing the same nasty witch here. I read that one of her reasons for leaving Y&R was she had done everything she could with that role, and here she is doing the same thing on GH. I haven't seen much of Maura West or Emme Rylan yet, two of my favorites from their previous soaps. I know Steve Burton was well loved here, but I think he is dull and boring on Y&R and has no chemistry with his leading lady over there. It's too bad because the writers are ruining that show.

But I did have an idea -- I think "Mutter" should be given the task of removing Levi from the picture. She is perfectly capable of stashing him somewhere we won't have to look at him!

IDK, "Mutter" may have a special place in her cold cold heart for Levi, remember my earlier supposition that maybe he's Duke and Anna's miscarriage...... I mean if Ian Buchanan's character on AMC could transfer Erica Kane's "abortion" into his wife and raise him as his own son, why couldn't Frau Doktor Frankenstein do something similar......... (sheesh, I have a fiendish mind )

I am deliberately missing the show now, and just reading the recaps. I am still curious about the phony Luke, but not much else interests me at the moment.

Too many phony deaths.

Pregnant women who don't know who the father is.

Innocent children struck down in car accidents, even unborn ones.

People back from the dead with hidden agendas.

Mob bosses who never get what's coming to them.

Children who grow up too fast.

Children who never get to grow up at all.

There's more, but I liked it better when it was the Hardys, and the Quartermaines, and the Webers, and the Baldwins, and the Spencers, and the Joneses, and Ruby ran Kelly's.

barbaraann! I know you are talking about GH, but the same can be said about Y&R. The same stupid story lines.

I used to watch Young and the Restless, but some of the storylines on that show have been so unbelievable. I am amazed at how twisted some of these stories are, and quite frankly, I am not that gullible. It's supposed to be entertainment, but I find it insulting sometimes, the things they want us to believe,

Previews for the week of 07-Jul-2014

**A car accident brings in two patients for GH’s care. One of them might not make it.
Loved ones gather at GH to worry themselves sick about Molly and Rafe.
Rafe tries to clear the air with Patrick, about everything.
Rafe and Molly must face the music, post-car-accident.
Patrick can’t wait to self-righteously give Rafe the once-over.
But too bad for Patrick, Rafe can’t speak right now. He’s overcome by convulsions.
Rafe’s convulsions sure do get in the way of some good, old-fashioned justice, huh Patrick? Rafe’s life lies in Patrick’s hands. Let’s say the surgeon isn’t sure he wants to try his best.
Sam understands Patrick’s feeling torn about operating on Rafe.
But Silas finds the idea of Patrick cutting into Rafe abhorrent, fearing the worst.
Sam and Silas go over their respective guilt trips about not having tended to Rafe they way they think they should’ve.
Sam relays to Silas that Rafe had been struggling with addiction. What’s worse, Patrick knew.
Nina makes a huge show of being on Silas’ side.
Patrick and Silas engage in a beefy stand-off, because of Rafe’s actions.

Alice is in dire straits at GH—the rest of the Qs rally. They receive a scary prognosis from the doctor.
Not even a life-threatening ailment can prevent Alice from trying to alert Michael to two-faced Tracy.
Michael never changes. Despite Alice’s dire condition, he goes into detective mode to ferret out from her what she wanted to say about Tracy.
Tracy tries to coerce Alice into shutting up with intimidation tactics.

Jordan reports to Anna on the latest low-down: There’s another mob character involved.
Julian can barely handle the weight of remorse.

There’s another character who’s moved up on Nina’s hit list. Hi, Kiki Kaka.
Nina probes into Kiki’s affairs.

Ava and Delia brainstorm on the right method of utilizing the cell-phone recording, to gain the advantage over Sonny.
Ava and Delia pretend to be angry with one another in a staged fight, so Sonny thinks it’s okay for mommy dearest to hang around.
Delia goes through Sonny’s effects in his office when she’s busted.

Maxie and Nathan suffer from a conflict, due to one thinking something wrong about the other.
Maxie and Nathan secretly enjoy a one-night stand, purely platonic of course, because of the handcuffs.
Levi’s eyes widen with jealousy when he casts them on Maxie and Nathan.
Maxie pressures Nathan not to make a stink about Levi’s VISA.
Levi tries to bully Nathan to shut his piehole about the lapsed VISA.
Maxie asks herself if she fancies Nathan.

Shawn and Jordan dance around their growing feelings; they feel they must resist but it’s a losing proposition.
Shawn and Jordan begin to quarrel, when they get intimate instead.

Felix and Brad have a lover’s spat over Lucas.
Brad and Felix get lovey-dovey. Or is it Lucas and Felix? I’m confused.

Bathroom break: Olivia shows up at Sonny’s so they can discuss their feelings.

Next week: Patrick should be in a triangle with Sam and Elizabeth, let’s be real. But he just may rebound with Sabrina when she comes back, after he tries to file for divorce from Robin… Sonny makes a menace of himself to Franco… Maxie intercedes on Levi’s behalf, using her position with Nathan to keep him quiet… Maxie puts herself on the case of the rat who finked on Levi about the VISA in the first place. Was it Nathan?… Julian and Lucas have cause to converse about a new man for Lucas… Because of what Julian does, Alexis has to pay… Someone drops a deadly bargain on Jordan. Will she bite?… Elizabeth takes one look at Britt sidling up to Nikolas at the kids’ camp, and disapproves… Spencer is fully on board with luring his dad back to Britt. The kid proceeds with his next scheme… Levi actually has deeper roots in this town than just through Maxie… Nikolas becomes preoccupied about Spencer’s welfare… Tracy says she will bring Alice from the brink of death — on one condition… Excited, Olivia goes on and on about getting to love another grandbaby. **

Alright, ladies. I officially think Nina ran Patrick off the road. I think Rafe was coked up and doesn't remember the events of that night. He just thinks he did it. I'm a couple days behind, but I'm thoroughly enjoying Nathan and Maxie being handcuffed. Something light, fun, sexy and, best of all, Levi free!

but rafe said someone made him do it. and Luke was threatening emma (during that ridiculous conversation with spencer) with luke being head of the drug cartel and rafe hooked on coke... myabe the dealer told rafe either run this car off the road or we kill you, to pay your drug debt?

Yep. Luke was threatening Emma to keep Spencer quiet about the conversation he heard between Luke and Julian. Also, Eva was threatening Sabrina to make Carlos take the rap for killing AJ. So we don't know who put Rafe up to it, but the Luke/drug theory makes the most sense.

Nina is horrid. So is her nurse. They need to be gone. Perhaps they can get deported with Levi.

I really enjoyed the Delia commenting on how Sonny's dad looked like her husband Roger. For those of us who watched Ryan's Hope, it was the same actor.

Thanks for mentioning that. I didn't watch Ryan's Hope and that comment went totally over my head. I was wondering what kind of stupid double life, who's the daddy story they were going to come up with this time. Like maybe Ava was really Mike aka Roger's child, so Sonny & Ava were siblings (gross!)
