This whole Robin storyline is really ridiculous. There is no way she would stay away from Patrick and Emma even for Jason and now we're to believe she's staying away to save Stavros Cassidine. I'm wondering if it's really Patrick's baby in there that's she's trying to save, that's about the only thing that will make somewhat sense. As she wouldn't want him to know what she's doing in case it doesn't' work.

If it was ok for Frisco Jones to go off and follow his dreams as far his career went, and leave his family behind, why is not ok for robin?

Yeah. I was watching on my DVR while eating dinner. DS15 walked in and sat down while looking at his phone. So then the guy at the clinic says that line to Sam. I nearly spit out my broccoli at the same time DS jumped out of the chair and said, "OK! Wow! I am so outta here!" I had to rewind to make sure that's really what he said. Yep...it was...

gotta wonder the mental age of the writers they have now..... On a brighter note, I discovered that someone had reset the settings on the DVR so that it was only saving one episode. I missed Monday and tuesday's episodes. After watching yesterday I'm not sorry I missed them!

I was talking about Robin specifically. It's just totally out of character. Didn't we just watch not too long ago her begging to be let go so she could be with her family and now she just willingly leaves. Just tired of them changing character's personalities on a whim.

Agreed! I wish she would just stay gone. This coming & going stuff is annoying.

I had the same reaction. I just couldn't believe it. Yet I continued to watch it....like a train wreck.

So the editors, the actors, nobody, said "eeewww, shouldn't we change this line to something less graphic?"

But her parents put their jobs or need adventure above parenting her whole life so what she is doing might be kinda "natural" to her.

General Hospital's plots are so twisted, and crazy lately. Moreso than usual. I think the writers make this stuff up as they go, with no regard to past, present, or believable storylines.

Characters doing unbelievable things are usually just being written out of the show because of contract issues rather than plot lines.

I've come to the conclusion that they have a bunch of interns from USC writing for them and they switch them out every semester, which would explain why there's no story continuity. Think about it, it's a whole lot cheaper than hiring an experienced writing staff.

I can't think of any other explanation for why the writing is so weak.

Makes no sense that Robin would put Jason ahead of her family. Especially when Victor Cassadine has admiited to her that he had Rafe drive Patrick off the road. Patrick's son has died, and she still is working for Victor.

It will probably come out that Victor is holding something major over her head. He's probably threatened to kill her family if she doesn't stay and thaw his. The accident was just a warning. She'll probably tell Patrick later that she was protecting him and Emma by staying and finishing the work.

In other news, can Maxie please kick Levi to the curb and get busy with Nathan? If it were me, there would be no contest between those two guys!

Um when is new Jason supposed to come ? I wish SB would come back, I don't like him on Y and R

oh is that what makes him look so...odd? I thought it was his bulging neck. I have been trying to figure it out since he's been on. I'd like to see him smiling, maybe he would look totally different!

what's funny is he really IS a good actor, makes you hate him. Everything I read is that he's best buds with the guy that plays Nathan, even wound up crashing at his home for a while when his apartment deal didn't work. Read an interview with him and he talks about how this is his first less than good guy role, usually he's cast as the good guy, so funny!

And I hope he has chemistry with either Sam or Elizabeth. NewJason could be the start of reviving the Qs if he is Jason Quartermaine. That might be too much to hope for, but if he has no memory of Sam or Sonny, that would be interesting. And dare I say it would be hysterical if he has no memory of Carly? That would be fun to see Laura Wright play. Watching her with Franco makes me want to poke my eyeballs out.

I actually think RH and MS would be fun to watch, bring that on!

And Levi needs to go. I find nothing redeeming in that loser. Watch Josslyn will need a transplant or something and he will be Jerry's son and the only match -- once they decide we should like him again....that is pure speculation on my part and I hope I'm wrong!
