I agree; the vets are given such crumbs yet the rise to the top every time. Give the vets some good story lines and send some of the new ones packing.

My take on the Nurses Ball:

Eddie Maine can sing any day, I enjoyed his performance.

I do not want to see children performing. Total FF. The 8 yr old triangle is getting on my last nerve. At this rate I will not be interested when these kids are old enough to have a real triangle.

The Beefcake show bordered on obscene. I am not a prude but TJ as a high school teen had no business in it. Morgan would have made more sense. Oh wait, he didn't work those days.

I wonder how Michael Easton got out of singing? I bet it's in his contract that he doesn't have to.

Starr, I mean Kiki, was her usual competent self when singing.

I think the Blackie Parrish reference was supposed to be a dig at John Stamos. Instead it was a slap to the fans. And replacing him with Player...bad juju, Dudes!

Luke's performance was bizarre. If I didn't read that Tony Geary performed it in a show, I would have had no understanding of what was up with that.

Maxie wasn't going to show up for an event where she was in a choreographed number?!

I don't care who Levi or Nathan are related to. Nathan needs some acting lessons, stat, and Levi just needs to leave. Hopefully when Maxie and Nathan inevitably get together he will pack his bags and go save some whales.

Loved the performances by Lucy, Kevin, Scott, Bobbie, Mac and Felicia, although her Forever 21 necklace did not look like an Aztec heirloom to me.

I don't know but would bet money Brad was in a boy band at some time in his life.

I thought the smashing of Mr. Marbles was mean. No, I didn't want to see another number with him, but there was no need to be cruel to Mac.

And an aside separate from the ball -- is it just me, or is Sonny more unbalanced than when he was throwing barware? the constant excuse that "it didn't mean anything" and "doesn't affect our relationship" with Olivia has me wanting to take over the throwing duties. If Olivia slept with anyone else, do you think he would accept that excuse?! He is more delusional about that than his visions of AJ.

Ok here is my take on it.

I will be honest I was not overly impressed with the NB. I give it a C.

Some acts were great and more acts were just ok.

All that eating of yogurt by everyone was a bit lame.

Tracy and Fluke getting married.

Brad grabbing Lucas and kissing him with so much force.

Dr. O singing to her kids.

Lucy and Scott madly kissing as the curtain opens.

Children in a LOVE TRIANGLE.

Marbles getting smashed to pieces.

Ron Moss, ugh.

It pains me everytime I see what Bobbie Spencer/JZ did to her face.

AND last but not least why did Lucy mention Blackie Parrish and we never saw him?

Wait....just saw this online.....WHATTTTTTT. No way. Ron Moss is NO Blackie. OMG. I did NOT realize we were all to think that RM was Blackie!

The Nurses Ball 2014 features a very special guest as we learned on Frday, May 9. At the end of the show Lucy Coe, the MC, gets on stage and announces that Blackie Parrish will be performing. But sadly we know that John Stamos won’t be playing Blackie! Blackie is being portrayed by Ronn Moss this year – oh well, fans probably aren’t going to be to happy. Not happy, how about pissed off.

Well, Spencer/Eddie Munster referred to RM as Mr. Moss so I guessed the PTB backed off of the Blackie replacement. Lucy explained his absence as scheduling problems or something.

Why didn't they cut out during all of the Spencer nonsense?

Can someone tell me what day Lucy/Kev/Scottie/Bobbie/Mac/Felicia performed and perhaps I can catch it online?

I'm a week behind (shows on tape), so even though here's my take, recent events may have proven it wrong. I think Levi was only brought on to help bring Maxie back to town.The actor probably has at most a 6 month contract, and will soon die somehow. Maybe he'll get caught in the crossfire and die instead of some main character. I'll admit, it's almost all wishful thinking. To me he's so annoying, I'm really hoping he's only temporary. Please, oh please, don't be here for the long haul!

Thanks Maria, yes, I saw Kevin and Lucy's interaction after the kiss episode. Thanks! Maybe I didn't miss too much. There's a lot I wish I would have missed:
1. Mr. Marbles murder
2. Spencer reciting "baby come back" lyrics
3. Lucy in her red underwear
4. Lucy crying hysterically
5. Brad force-kissing Lucas
6. Levi rolling his eyes at the performances
7. Everyone eating yogurt
8. Lucas and Felix rolling their eyes at Brad's performance (I thought of all of them, it was one of the best!)
9. Patrick and Sabrina spontaneously singing. Now that was weird!

I agree with a PP that Levi is there to be involved with Felicia's necklace. I don't have the show recorded so I can check, but I am wondering if Levi changed his tune about going to the nurses ball once he saw Felicia on the red carpet (on tv) since Maxi was watching it in the apartment.
