Not sure it can be Ava, didn't she just meet Ryan who she thought was Kevin.

I'm guessing it will be Felicia, as that would make the most sense. He would have been still obsessed with her at the time Esme would have been born. I'm wondering if Esme is in fact Felicia and Mac's, maybe they tried in vitro fertilization at one point and it didn't work, but Ryan somehow managed to get a hold of one of their fertilized eggs and got a surrogate to have Esme. To me what he has Esme do, like sleep with an older married man, is not something a father would want his daughter to do, not even a father as screwed up as Ryan. I could see him using her if she is Felicia and Mac's.

Me either. I wonder if the writers planned for this big "who's Esme's mother?" speculation. I'm wondering if her mother is tied to Elizabeth's family now. Perhaps she's not Elizabeth's daughter, but maybe Elizabeth's sister's (Sarah's) daughter.

Didn't Carly give birth to Joss in a cabin in the woods? I suppose the babies could have been switched after Carly arrived at the hospital, but that's doesn't seem plausible since Felicia would have likely given birth in Texas.

I'm still going with the theory that Felicia was pregnant by Mac but didn't know it yet. She went off and was captured and assaulted by Ryan, found out she was pregnant and assumed it was Ryan's. So she stayed with her grandmother until she gave birth, put the baby up for adoption and never told anyone. With all the fore-shadowing about Felicia being concerned that Mac never had a biological child, then Ryan having a flashback about Felicia after mentioning Esme's mother, it all seems to fit together. That is unless it was a red herring to divert us from the real story which, as we know, is fairly common in soapdom!

So I guess it is safe to assume Trina is in fact Curtis' daughter since Portia seems very concerned about mental illness and it being passed down. Do you think we will see Trina have a breakdown? Right now doesn't seem like they are close to exonerating her. I really hope Esme does not turn out to be pregnant with Nicholas' kid, I'm tired of those storylines.

Will it ever come out that she was drugged? Interesting how they explained the absence of Scotty. Did Kin Shriner leave the show, as was rumored?

Why is Victor trying to kill Laura?

I cracked up at Joss's comment, too.

I think Kin is just working on a very limited basis. I seem to remember reading that he wanted to leave and the show came up with a compromise to only have him filming X number of days over a certain period of time.

I'm not sure why Victor is trying to kill Laura...I though I missed something. Glad I'm not the only one who is missing that bit of information.

Valentin told Victor that Laura is working to have him deported. That's why Victor wants Laura dead. But Valentin recognizes that she is Charlotte's grandmother and he won't let her be killed, so he told Victor there are other ways to neutralize her.

I'm confused as to why Victor has control over Charlotte? What is he holding over Valentin's head? I must have missed that one.

It seems obvious that Trina is Curtis' daughter but that information probably won't be made public for another 6 months or so....gotta drag it out as long as possible.

I was just thinking that it's about time for Esme to either say she's pregnant or at least *think* she's pregnant. I'm sure she'll conveniently leave a used pregnancy test in Ava's bathroom. I'm also tired of those storylines.... And I'm ready for Esme to disappear into the sunset.
