I've finally caught up on GH (7 Days behind)

Man if JT doesn't get massive awards for his role.... He has been amazing!

I do like the Michael and Starr pairing.. Hope the writers don't blow it!

Blair and Carly as friends... Look out Port Charles!

Sam growing big over night is sad.. I wish they would give her something to work with. She is all Jason! I hate to say it but I hope its Franco's baby.. Now that would stir things up a bit

I can't get into the Maxie scenes.. If KS were doing them it would mean something.

Ok..I checked in here and there on soap net. I saw part of the church service last night. First..the whole tv screen over the casket turned me off. At the church??.. Maybe that's whats going on with funerals these days, but not the ones I've attended. While certainly family photos have been part of a serivce/tribute during the wake, I have never seen a tv placed so near to a casket. I don't know..again, maybe it's just me, but I thought it was distracting.
That being said, having SONNY speak at the service! After Patrick specifically asked him to leave? REALLY
Frankly, I was even more disappointed when Mac got up to speak. Robins funeral service seemed to be more a tribute to Robin and Stone, rather than being about Robin,...PATRICK'S wife, and EMMA'S mother!
Maybe I'm just biased, as I think killing her off was a bad idea to begin with. The so called tribute to honor her life is all over the place, and going on forever already.

I do hope that at SOME POINT, Jason decides to put his friendship with Carly in one place, and on one level, and his MARRIAGE to Sam on a higher level. His priorities are screwed up. Even his acting like a two year old to be discharged from the hospital. This woman you love, who is carrying your child, and who has sat by your bedside praying and taking care of you is dismissed as being overly protective. While Jason's brain may be fixed, his *** needs a serious kickin'.

Well said "auntie". Totally agree. Also who has a procedure done on their brain and hops out of bed so quick.

One minute he's dying without this special "protocol"...the next he's back in his black shirt (Lord they must save a fortune on wordrobe for this guy), pacing around the room as if he never even had so much as a headache, let alone brain surgery!

I, too, couldn't believe how many people were at the funeral. And, Carly needs to, at some point, realize she doesn't run Jason's life. But I hate the pairing of Jason and Sam so if Carly can come between them I say yay!

Also want to chime in on the poorly attended funeral. This woman was a long-time, prominent resident of Port Charles. Her uncle is the police comissioner. At least a few cops would attend to pay their respects. She was formerly chief of staff at the hospital. The only doctors in attendance were her husband and brother-in-law. The only nurse was her friend. Sure, Epiphany had to work, as did Monica. Where were Steve, Olivia and Maggie? There were a few random people in the background, that I assumed to be hospital workers. And no Quartermaines attended? Why did they feel it was necessary to give Edward and Tracy a reason to stay home? Where was Michael? Even though Carly and Robin didn't get along, Carly should have been at the funeral paying her respects to the woman who saved her best friend's life. Instead, she was at the hospital stirring up trouble. I also think they should have kept Robert and Holly around long enough to go to the funeral. It's really sad the way they're handling the death of a major character.

Just found this thread, and boy am i glad i did.

I am a OLTL fan who is trying to get into GH b/c of the crossover characters. I have watched GH a little here and there since it came on right after OLTL, but that is also the our the kids come in from school, so never really got into it.

I actually started watching OLTL because of Port Charles. Loved the whole vampire thing, but only found it somewhere around the last year. Then I saw Caleb (Michael Easton) was on OLTL....tuned in and got hooked. John has always been my favorite character. I was so sad when it was canceled, elated at the whole internet idea, then depressed again. It was almost too good to be true when they announced the crossovers...and they would include John!

I figured right away they would put John up against Sonny....I watched enough to know he was the perfect foil for John. Love the way John made his entrance this week...perfect

Still can't believe they killed Hope! Cole I could get....but Hope? Of course, I still think in true soap style Hope is alive, to possibly reappear in some years (if soaps last that long). Unless I missed it, they haven't even mentioned a memorial for them.

Out of respect for the long history of GH, I really don't want the OLTL characters to take over the show. That's just not fair to GH. I hope they gradually involve them more and more, giving the GH fans time to get to know them. The phone call between Blair and Tomas was interesting. Almost like they were trying to tell years of history in 30 seconds. Not sure it was effective.

Besides the time factor, the other reason I was never able to get into GH was how heavy it was. Never seemed to have any really funny, quirky characters or storylines. And that is what I loved on OLTL. Realistic? No way! But fun. That is something I do hope that gets integrated. And Todd Manning is the man to start that. As much as I love John, humor guy he is not!

Sorry to ramble on so much....I have nobody to discuss this with and it has been killing me! If anyone is still reading, thanks for indulging me!

I Laughed myself silly when I saw Jason awake... wearing his BLACK T SHIRT... no shaved head spot for the spot where skull was drilled and brain injection inserted.. no grogginess.. no nothing.. just Hi..I am ready to go home now.. NO DOC Checking him out in a timely manner?????.. ( they certainly were not at Robin's funeral) DDDDAAAANNNG! Jas I know you are super man.. but gotta tell ya... this was plain sloppy GH!

Michael can’t help but find himself intrigued by Starr’s tragedy and intensity.
Carly makes fun of Sonny, pushing the limit.
Olivia warns Johnny to watch himself.
Jason and Sam quarrel about her having kept Robin’s death from him for so long.
Sam says her piece to Jason, hoping he’ll understand.
Jason and Elizabeth have a moment, over the anniversary of Jake’s death, teasing possibility.
Elizabeth checks in on Luke, who also remembers Jake, keeping it together, maintaining perspective.
Jason and Sam get to chat about Robin, as well as something of a mystery from the past.
Sam and OLTL’s Det. John McBain (formerly of the FBI) meet for the first time. But it feels like they’ve met before, wink, wink.

Anna speaks with Patrick, then loses her cool. Like really loses it.
Luke doesn’t bail on Anna, surprise, surprise, but steps up.
While Luke does the noble thing for Anna, he looks hard at his life and the mistakes he’s made.
Well, nice of Noah to finally show up for one of his sons. It’s not Matt, though.
Matt may not take seeing Noah too kindly.
Anna gives Noah a piece of her mind.

Maxie’s guilt gets the better of her, as she asks, no, demands, Mac book her for murder.
Spinelli and Matt try to settle Maxie down and see that she’s going overboard, if that’s possible.
Matt, Spinelli, Alexis, and Mac must pause in their mourning of Robin to take care of Maxie, and help her ease up on her self-flagellation.
Luke includes Lulu in on his top secret.

Next week: Who drops in on Michael? The plot thickens… Johnny cracks the whip, showing Steve who’s boss… The Drake household takes a VIP delivery… Elizabeth naturally falls into the role vacated by Robin, by helping Anna out. They lean on one another… Elizabeth goes out on a date… Luke triggers the jealous factor in Tracy… Dante opens up about something and how he feels about it with Lulu, aka more talking.

After watching today's GH I have high and I mean HIGH hopes that they are gonna send her off to St. Anns (Do I have the right soap?) and she won't return until KS can come back.. Is that too much to ask for?

I have to say, today was the worst day of GH I have watched in years and I have been watching since 1963. I got the same thought about Maxie and thought send her away until KS can come back.

Oh my.. today.. the tight, close up of Maxie's red eye's after the horrid, screeching diatribe against HERSELF!, had to be the worst shot I have ever been witness to on GH. I have been wanting Kirsten to come back.. but today was the worst. Even Bradford and Jason (Spinelli and Matt) looked sooo uncomfortable dealing with it all.

I wonder if Finola Hughes, Anna, was shaking her head and muttering " this is low.. so low" in between shots. GH writers... THINK A LITTLE.. you do not have to push, push, push.. let the Robin's story ebb slowly away. Let Patrick mourn, grow as a father, grow as a man.

I have said before that I do not mind the DID storyline... the actress.. not a big fan... but today.. Sonny was just dumb, dumb dumb. I LOL when he said something about - thought you did not like role playing- to kate/connie...

I missed a few scenes between Carlie and Sean a few weeks back.... Can somebody tell me why Carlie and Sean are no longer an item.. other than Carlie is gettin' busy with Johnnie??

Sean finally got up his courage, went to Johnny's, and told Carly he wanted her to be with him. Carly was kind, but she had already moved on. You snooze you lose with that hot mama! I don't think Sean has been seen since. I wouldn't be surprised if he and TJ just sort of disappear...

Thanks Maria! I sure appreciate that update. I figured that is what happened.. I only missed one scene.. I think.
I liked Sean.. even tho his backstory was spotty... and he was hot, hot, hot!
The TJ character was easily redeemable... and gave Molly something to do besides pad behind Alexis.l
