who is ted king? (not all of us know all the actor's names, ya know;))

Ted King most recently played Tomas Delgado on OLTL. Several years ago, he played both Luis and Lorenzo Alcazar on GH.

Tried to post a picture, but don't have enough posts. He's not hard on the eyes. :rotfl:

AH! I thought Thomas looked familiar to me. I didn't waht GH much back in alcazar days. I liked thomas with blair, but I really want Todd to be happy. for some strange reason, I like him...:confused3

I don't think any of us should really like Todd, but how can you not? I think it has a lot to do with Roger Howarth (actor name! also abbreviated by me as RH all the time:goodvibes) who plays him.

Maria :upsidedow

As much as I love Ted King if GH had to make a choice between him & Roger I think RH is a better choice. Maybe it will help GH lighten up a bit. He has the best timing & I would love to see him have scenes with Luke & Tracy. And can you think how a scene with RH & Kristen Storms would be-Can I say Epic. Maybe Kate Fires her & she starts work for Todd or Todd Buys Blair Crimson.

I agree! he doesn't have that classic handsome face, but somehow he is so sexy.

I remember when he palyed a young frat boy on Loving. anyone remember? but it wasn't until OLTL that RH shined. he took a 2 dimensional character, and breathed life into it... pathos, even humor!

:thumbsup2 now if we could only get david(tuc) and rex over!!!

There was a rumor that the actor who plays Rex was coming, but not as Rex as Dillon Quartermaine. Don't know if that's still a rumor or not...:confused3

I never watched Loving, but I did love RH on ATWT. I did notice Friday, it seemed like his earlobes were sticking up? It just looked weird. They should probably take off his shirt so I don't notice anymore :rolleyes1

rex as dillon? that would be great! don't know the actor's name, but he's another one who took a 2D character (a basic con man) and grew into a complex character, some good, some bad.

I loved the relationship between bo and rex.!

Rex's real name is John-Paul Lavoisier.

Forgive me, but what ever happened to Dillon?

good question. didn't he go off to film school or something like that? I remember really rooting for him and georgie is that right? but lulu was a "villian" at the time, and slept with dillon, and got pregnant. she had an abortion, which she later was afraid to tell dante about. I remember there was a whole teenage plot line with one of the alcazar's niece, (sky?) who was murdered, I don't remember by who.

gee, I'm a big help.. I watch GH on and off, I was more of a all my kids and oltl fan

Previews for the week of 12-Mar-2012
by Carol Banks Weber

**Maxie isn’t acting herself. Maybe it’s her knowing she inadvertently set off the gas that ended Robin’s life. Matt worries she’s going off the deep end. She is.
Try as he might, Port Charles’ resident shrink can’t make a dent with Maxie, who’s in her own angsty world.
Those who knew, loved, and respected Robin will attend her funeral, with heavy hearts. Except for Maxie, who can’t bear to show her face.
Lulu and Mac do their best to encourage Maxie to go to Robin’s funeral, but it falls on deaf ears.
Anna and Noah engage in an intense talk.
Monica and Tracy pick a bad time to bicker about Robin having died and her funeral. It goes over like a dead weight with Edward, who suffers for it.
Robin’s funeral is the center of attraction this week as those who survived her death react, interact, and with some, create a shocking ripple effect.
Patrick takes the podium to eulogize Robin’s death at the funeral, but chokes up.
It’s too much for her to bear; Maxie loses it while at Robin’s funeral.
Of course Spinelli has to go and blurt out a curious statement about Robin (dude might as well come right out and say she kicked the bucket!), which piques Jason’s interest and has him insisting on talking to her directly.
Sam drags Alexis and Molly into the secret-keeping, so Jason’s shaky healthy isn’t compromised. They agree they will not spill a word to him about Robin’s funeral.
Carly pays no mind to Sam’s edict. She zeroes in on Jason to honor him with the truth about Robin’s death and funeral—unless Sam cuts her off at the pass.

It’s Sonny & Co. versus Todd & Co. Let’s light this candle.
Sonny accepts a business call from someone quite eye-opening.
OLTL’s Detective John McBain is hot on Todd Manning’s trail, all the way to Port Charles.
Carly and Blair realize they’re a lot alike.
Michael has a hard time facing Starr, after all that’s happened and with the shadow of suspicion over Sonny.
Anthony attempts to convince Johnny to take Connie (Kate’s alter), make it public, rub Sonny’s face in it, and reap the payback reward.
Johnny finds himself delving more into Kate’s multiple personality problem.
A gun goes off. Oh no. Not again.

Steve finally tells Olivia what he’s been keeping from her all this time. She might be the only one who cares.
Olivia leans in, listening to Tracy and Anthony jabbering away, then goes to do something about Steve’s problem.

Next week: Sam and OLTL’s John McBain’s paths cross, and it’s like they’ve known each other for lifetimes (this is a wink and a nod to their Port Charles roots, as Livvie and Caleb, vampires in love)… Jason and Elizabeth have a moment … Something is going on between Sam and Jason; look to the past… Sam bears the consequences of her decision to keep this Robin secret from Jason. He’s understandably peeved… Say hello again to Rick Springfield, who returns as Dr. Noah Drake—for his son Patrick… Mac and company attempt to reach Maxie and get her to see reason.

News for the week of 12-Mar-2012
by Carol Banks Weber

It’s official. Kristina Wagner (Felicia) will be back, sometime in late April to clean up the mess left by her absence and Robin’s death.

Michael Easton (John McBain, OLTL; ex-Caleb, PC) had the same reservations as most fans did about bringing some characters onto GH from another soap. He’s all for supporting soaps and playing out an exciting story promised him by executive producer Frank Valentini. But he didn’t want to do it at the expense of everything built by GH. “My biggest concern was that I didn't want to go to GH just to bait some of the OLTL audience. I didn't feel that was very valid or fair. It would just piss off the GH audience and disappoint the OLTL fans. There needs to be a really good reason why McBain is in Port Charles — something organic, not forced — and I think they came up with a good one.”

Easton gave some spoiler insight about his place in Port Charles, including a checkered history with mob boss Sonny, a déjà-vu run-in with former Port Charles co-star Kelly Monaco (Sam; ex-Livvie, PC), and perhaps more history with more GH characters. John’s beef with Sonny will involve having lost a loved one because of the mobster’s actions, then an inability to do anything legal about it within the jurisdiction of FBI law and order. “It was one of those situations where the only way he could catch Sonny was to corrupt evidence or manufacture some and he couldn't find it in his heart to do that. So he had to bury it and let it go. So Sonny remained the one that got away, the big white whale. This time around, McBain is determined to see justice done one way or the other.” Going after Sonny won’t be easy for John. He’ll have to go through Dante, who seems to be running the show. He’ll also have to keep a closer eye on Starr who may be falling for Sonny’s son Michael.

Leaving OLTL proved heartbreaking for an actor not easily given to fleeting Hallmark sentiment. He described the process, leading up to a particularly odd end-of-show party. “I went to the wrap party and it seemed like everyone was medicated. It was kind of like that movie Westworld where everyone is walking around in a daze. And I really feel bad for the fans who were left with that false hope that something was going to happen. That's why I feel so strongly about this move to GH. We have to do everything possible to keep these soaps going.” –TV Guide, March 5, 2012 interview with Michael Logan

Roger Howarth (Todd Manning, OLTL) just signed a GH contract. Interesting, since it’s been rumored that he balked at returning to OLTL, where he originated, full-time.

Maurice Benard (Sonny; ex-Nico, AMC), Kassie DePaiva (Blair, OLTL) — recently seen with Anders Hove (ex-Faison) in pictures at Monster Mania — and Kristen Alderson (Starr, OLTL) galvanized GH fans with their fighting words of encouragement and never-say-die attitude in the March 2nd ETOnline.com, March 2nd interview with Paige Feigenbaum. While DePaiva emotionally spoke of hope, Benard laid it on the line by saying, “I dare anybody to cancel this show.” Alderson sounded like she was having the time of her life, reinvigorating her OLTL character in the post-accident that left Starr a widow and childless in one fell swoop. "I really am not finished playing Starr. It feels more exciting to me than if I got a role on a primetime show." With a handful of core OLTL characters crossing over, what about AMC? Benard thought it’d be a kick to bring Susan Lucci (ex-Erica, AMC) on. He’s enjoying the cross-overs that have been done so far. It “breathes life and the energy's great,” he enthused.

Gossip for the week of 12-Mar-2012
by Carol Banks Weber

Katie Couric’s new talk show will take over GH’s timeslot across the country, but GH itself may move up as her lead-in—at least if she and her executive producer Jeff Zucker allegedly have any say. TV Guide’s Michael Logan is reporting that these two do not want The Revolution, OLTL’s replacement show, to be that lead-in, since it’s tanking in the ratings. They also, according to TV Guide, do not want GH soap fans on the warpath against them like AMC and OLTL soap fans have been for The Chew and The Revolution. What helps this argument is GH’s ratings spiked the other week on the strength of Robin Scorpio’s explosive death, the return of some GH faves, and the cross-overs of some popular OLTL stars.

Make way for Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) next. Antonio Sabato Jr. (ex-Jagger) may want in on this reunion train, too.

Ingo Rademacher (ex-Jax) allegedly took bitterness to the next *****y level by taking a sideswipe at TPTB’s decision to hire the OLTL regime which then resulted in the cross-overs of several OLTL characters. He’d tweeted several weeks ago — and maybe tried to backtrack in subsequent tweets, like it was joke — something along the lines of, “One Life To Overkill,” earning him more than a few hater fans. Good luck coming back, dude. :rotfl:

The Talk’s Sheryl Underwood may have gotten a spoiler out of Rick Springfield (Noah) during his March 20th appearance. She was talking to him about his return and reminding him Noah also has another son, Matt, (the rocker-actor didn’t know!) when he spoiler-confirmed—after she suggested Noah and Anna would make a good couple. Here’s a video of his talk show appearance from the Huffington Post.

OLTL’s Starr and GH’s Michael make a definite match. They’re both single-minded, dogged, almost obsessively, annoyingly so (read: intensely self-centered to the point of bullying, see Lulu). Starr may try to use Michael to exact revenge for the senseless deaths of her boyfriend Cole and daughter Hope, but wind up in love. This could either turn out to be a fiery supercouple for the youth demographic, or a big, fat, stinking cluster.

WHO is the little girl playing Emma? Is she related to the actress playing Elizabeth? She is absolutely adorable!!

(sorry if this has already been asked and answered)

Holy Crap! Jason Thompson is playing some part! :sad1:

Sam's belly grew overnight...and remind me again why it's ok for her and Jason to have a baby but they had to kill off Jake and he couldn't tell anyone he was the father :rolleyes1

What they said!

Almost forgot.....I wanted to chime in on the whole Carly (Laura) thing. Her bottom teeth have always distracted me from what she is really saying. I'm always looking at them trying to figure out it they are discolored or if its just shading because they are crooked....drives me CRAZY sometimes!! LOL

I'm pretty sure a whitening kit is in order!

I was shocked at how few people were at Robin's funeral today. I am sure the hospital ceremony will be better attended.
Jason Thompson, Patrick, is doing a great job!

I am horrified for poor (don't say that too much) Maxie. She has lost everyone close to her.. and now she may have caused Robin's death. It is beyond heart sickening. I do wish Kirsten Storms could have been back for this.. I do miss her.

Kate/Connie... now this is interesting... and maybe a way to rid us of Kate for an extended period. I just hope .. please, please that Connie/Kate does not have a sperminator offspring hidden somewhere.. please nooooo!

Todd...Roger.. you are welcome in Port Charles. I find Roger Howarth's acting and timing outstanding. His Todd has twisted humor, deep seated turmoil and loyalty. I enjoyed all of his scenes while he was in PC. Come Back Todd... someday!
Starr and Michael... could be really interesting, it would be nice if both characters could be happy and smile.. really smile and laugh.. and heal.

This GH revamp is leaving many stories swinging in the wind.
It also looks like a big charge at ratings improvement so ABC has something to choose.. and not totally lose it's soap fans. I do not watch either the Chew nor the Revolution... and I will not. How many talk shows can people watch in one day?? It is nice to escape to Port Charles for 60 minutes.
