The Garden Grill

I've been dreaming about my December trip and was looking at some menues. At the Garden Grill they list Garden-fresh Vegetables, Smashed Potatoes, and Rice Pilaf on the menu. When we were there last May we didn't get those. Have any of you?

yes we did! I remember the veggies were a bit al dente. The rice was under the fish and the mashed potatoes were under the turkey. Some years it has been delicious and some were not that great. We are returning in April 2012 after a 2 year break. My kids love the salad, the beef, and the rolls

We had those last April. The thing I remember most is that the portions were really small. Like a couple of tablespoons of potatoes at a time you had to keep asking for more

so maybe you had to move that piece of turkey to the side to see the potatoes heheh

We were just there two weeks ago, and yes, they had all of the above. The veggies were corn and something else, and al dante wasn't really an issue. In addition to those, we asked for a side of mac and cheese off the kids menu, even though we were only adults. They were happy to oblige, and we were happy to eat. While not exactly fine dining, we were surprised at how good everything was. We're definitely going again next year.

We were there in May and had the mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, and the veggie was swiss chard (sp?). We didn't like that so we asked for the broccoli off the kids menu. Our server was great and brought us out the broccoli. As stated in a pp, we didn't have kids either and they don't care. We also asked for the kids dessert too! All of the food was amazing!

We have never eaten here but I would love to on our upcoming vacation in 2 weeks. I had no idea this reservation was so difficult to get. I have seen CRT/Cali Grill/Ohana/Le Cellier all pop up for options for me within the past month, but never has Garden Grill. I actually thought maybe it was being renovated or something. I look everyday. Jealous!!!

It is very hard to get a reservation here. It only offers dinner so I think thats the main reason why its so hard. We went in mid May 2011 and I was able to get a reservation at the end of April. Also we are going next week and I wasw able to get a reservation just the other day. Only a week and a half out. Keep trying!! Also keep checking the cancelled reservation thread. Good Luck!!!

Maybe that's why I don't remember them, I just couldn't find them
