Me and the kids walked into the MIB elevator and there was a 10 year old standing by the button panel. I looked at him, smiled and said,"Two Please" and the boy's mother yelled at him " Don't you touch anything!!!" I still smile when I think of it. What would US put within someones reach that you couldn't touch?

That is too funny. I remember being at Citywalk and there was this 1 year old, playing by the water fountain area (where the kids get wet) and he was getting so mad because everyone would get wet, but when he would go over to the water, it would move somewhere else. Talk about frustration!!!!

It was so cute and he looked so funny trying to run back and forth.

One of the funniest things I saw, was the PITP incident at HRH (poop in the pool). We had this southern family in the lounges beside us and they came over and told us about the PITP in this really thick southern accent. Then our kids came over and she told them about the PITP - I swear, she must have said this phrase about 8 times, she just couldn't stop talking about it. And, she wasn't angry about it, just very matter of fact, and the southern accent just made it hilarious. DH and still joke about the PITP - and try to imitate her. The comedy continued as we watched all the HRH lifeguards walk around with walkie talkies, obviously talking about the PITP. Then the bartenders came over to have a look too! As we were walking in, some little boy asked a lifeguard why the pool was closed and he said very seriously _"Someone had an accident in the pool" - it sounded like someone was seriously injured or something!! So..... The PITP is my funniest memory at Universal.

Also, just wanted to mention another funny moment. We were waiting to meet Spiderman and watched lots of little boys and girls (inclucing my own DS) go up for a picture and do action poses and talk about Superhero stuff - very macho type things. When it was my DD's turn, Spiderman crouched down to talk to her and she threw her arms around his neck for the picture - Well, I'm not sure if Spidey is used to getting hugs and sweetness from little girls, but he quickly did an action pose. So, the picture is of my DD with both arms around Spidey's neck, her head tilted in and smiling sweetly, and Spidey shooting a web!! It is a really great picture.

That is too great!!!! PITP---that's one acronym I don't think I'll use.....:p

PITP...Ha!!! :p :p When I meet you you'll have to give me your best impression of the girl, all right??? ;)

As for funny incidents when I was at Universal...well, I have a few.

1.) My friend and I were at Universal with my parents and my cousin and her daughter. My cousin and her daughter had to leave after we ate. My parents, my friend, and I got Express passes for MIB and they were to expire soon, but my parents needed to get something from my cousin's car, so they went with her. We were given the two extra Express passes, which meant we each could go in the Express line twice. Well, we went through and the guy looked at the passes "suspiciously" and finally let us through. We went on and then went back to the Express line to go again and he was there still. This time he gave the "I'm watching you!" look to my friend and we went in. By the time we reached the loading area we saw the guy switched stations and was now at the control area. He saw me and my friend again and did the same "I'm watching you" thing to my friend (of course, not in a freaky psycho way). Then when we got in the car, it was finally time for our car to move for the ride and it started to move and then stopped!! We looked up at the control area to see the guy and his friend acting like a couple of valley girls before letting us continue with our ride. LOL not something you see everyday!!! We then left and decided we wanted to go on again. We walked towards the entrance of the lines and he was back at Express!!! Already!!! We just stood by the Express line and he asked what we were doing. My friend told him we were waiting to see if anyone would give us Express passes. We decided we better give up and just meet up with my parents at IOA and started to walk away. A lady called out to us and the guy waves us back over. He uses his walkie talkie and another employee meets us and takes us to the loading area via a REAL elevator and we bypass even Express lines!! I later found out my friend occassionally winked at the guy that we kept seeing. I found it so hysterical...especially since she came up with an excuse on if she was asked how we got so many express passes (won't post here on the boards though! :p)

2.) This isn't a big deal, but...we were in line for Spiderman when we entered the small room between the office area and the one with the big screen with the film (you know...the little room with the "trophies" and awards in the glass cases?). I was almost in the room and we were stopped. I stood there looking straight ahead and and recognized something I was looking at...it didn't register in my mind what it was until about 5 or so seconds later when I realized it was SPIDERMAN  And I literally screamed...and he was only a couple feet away just looking at me square in the face. Talk about DELAYED REACTION!!! :p

I know I have more...I'll post them later!! :)

Some of our funniest moments have happened at the talking fountain. This one goofy kid, I think he was there with a school group, was about 10 years old. He wouldn't leave the fountain alone. The fountain asked his name and he replied, "Tartar Sauce". Needless to say, Tartar Sauce was a real PITA, and the fountain's attempts to ridicule him were hilarious.

I've mentioned this before somewhere......It was at one fish two fish...my kids climbed aboard - they had FOTL and loved this ride. I was waiting with the camara and bags and was jigging about to that "tune" that you can't help repeating over and over in your head afterwards.....watching people climb in. A woman and her little boy climbed on and her hair and make-up were immaculate. The car/fish she climbed in moved along slightly to let some more into the others, but it parked right under the spouting water from the fish!!! Before the ride had even begun she was a drowned rat! It was soooo funny - she looked like she had just come off Dudley Do-Rights!!!:p She tried to move but for some unknown reason the car kept moving backwards and forwards under this spouting water. Eventually the ride began. I will never forget her face when she climbed off - it was one of fury!!:D I hope she went on MIB after that and got a good score.....:p

These are all too funny. I want to hear more!!!!:p

Here's more:

1.) (This one is from my latest trip report): During the mic check when the Ghostbusters were testing their microphones, one of the guys was sooo funny. The night before was the deciding game on who would make it to the World Series...New York Yankees or the Boston RedSox. Well, since the GB Show takes place in "New York" the Guy in Orange wears a New York Yankees ball cap. Well, the guy comes out and says, "I just want to say to all you Boston RedSox fans.....Hahhahahahahahahahahaha!!!!" And keeps laughing and laughing...it was how he said it! It was hysterical! My dad was on the phone with work and still ended up cracking up. I couldn't help but laugh, myself. I certainly hope Barry got that on tape because...I guess it was one of those "you had to be there" type things...but just how he said it!!! Too funny!!!!!

2.) One time during the Horror Makeup Show, you know when they "cut" the volunteer's arm? Well, an elderly woman (at LEAST in her 60s) was the volunteer and they were "cutting" her arm and in the middle of it she appeared to have fainted!! The guys were freaking out, as was the audience. Well, turned out the joke was on the guys because she was pretending the whole time!!!

er...I'll post more in a little while

IOA: The Green Goblin stole someone's map and threw it away.

IOA: Doctor Doom stood in the entryway to his attraction and when some people passed by, he'd yell at them to go on the ride quickly, scaring them.

HHN: A scareactor was chasing this group of screaming girls and they ran straight into a haunted house.

I can't think of anything else off-hand.

PITP-
Did they play the Jaws theme song? Wasn't that in Caddyshack?

Yes, that was in Caddyshack - wasn't it a Babe Ruth? I would like to think it was a Babe Ruth in the pool, but I think it really was a PITP!!!

This wasn't at Universal, but it had to do with a trip there.

I took my cousin to Universal and my parents, cousin, and I met up with her parents in Georgia and were telling them about the themeparks. Well, we were talking about the Horror Makeup Show. So we were saying how we took her to the Horror Makeup Show. WHAT?!!? Her mom freaks out. The...hor...ror...make...up...show..." Turns out she didn't hear all of the words completely...she thought we took her to a "***** Makeup Show" we were cracking up soooo hard.

:rotfl: I love these!

I know it's rude to make fun of people who are say on the large size! But something else I've just remembered at the HR pool - a really big and I mean big (must be 4 times me!!!) man and woman were infront of us( me and my 2 kids) ready to go down the slide. The man who sits in the chair was chatting to someone over the side of the wall and the couple were deciding who was going to go first. She sat down and before the man in the chair could stop them he sat down behind her..... and they went down in a train together. My ex was waiting at the bottom to catch my son - (who was not such a good swimmer then) and suddenly he was confronted with an almighty SPLASH! It was like a tidal wave......:p

 funny since he wasn't expecting that at all!!!!!

I'll post more in a bit...have to wait for them to come to me!

This is something i posted a while ago...

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=381407

This happened this past Monday, May 26. We were gearing up to watch the 5:00 Ghostbusters/Beetlejuice show, everybody crowding around the white cord.

On the steps where the show happens were two pigions, which made it seem to me like we were all there to see these two birds (promting me to comments to my friend "those are animatronic, you know").

The birds are still there as the show's about to start when all of a sudden one jumps on top of the other and, well, you know...

It was almost like they were thinking "These folks look like they're here to se a show, so lets give 'em one." Beetlejuice stated to dance out when he noticed the busy birds. He finished the dance routine and then brushed the birds away saying "Alright, get out of here you two. Get a room!"

This aint a Disney thread, is it?

I have something to add! In USF, there's one guy who wears glasses and is in the Amity Games area. He is often the Amazing Alonzo. He is so funny! Once, he was going to gues someone's age. When she said her age (he wrote his guess down and showed it to a few bystanders), he said "Ladies and gentlemen, this is a Public Service Announcement. This woman is 38 years old, not 30".

Another time he was looking at a couple and asked the guy "what did you win for the lady?" The guy said something kinda quiet-ish, which prompted an "uh, we've got a scapegoat! He has not won anything for his lady yet" response.

:jester:

HHN: The Director's response to Barry's "scream" attempts. :)
