The funniest Thing you ever saw.

Well, it actually happened to me and my dear family thought it was the funniest thing they ever saw.

We went for my birthday Dec. 2001, and I had on one of those cute "Its my Birth Day" pins that I had received at Guest relations. We were at the HM, which is a favorite of ours. And you know how the CMs are all in costume and they really play up the part. Well, we were ushered into the round room to the "Dead center of the room" because they needed "more bodies".... Some how this guy sees my pin and gets right behind me. He then intones in this morbid voice "Happy Birthday Madame, too bad it will be you last" then he starts this really evil, heinous laughing. OK, I got goose bumps, my youngest son edges a little closer! It was great, really creepy! I loved it! SO we ride the ride and every CM makes a Birthday comment to me. As we exit and leave HM I notice a few people keep watching us. When they began to point and stare and got a little nervous. I stopped walking and I then realized one of the creepier looking CMs had followed me out.(not to be ugly, but he was a perfect chose for HM!) He was right behind me, I mean right behind me. His chin was almost touching my left shoulder. Every step I took he took too. If I stopped, he stopped. When I would look at him he would stare straight ahead. This went on untill wehad almost reached the Hall of Presidents. I told him thank you for making my birthday so special but he REALLY could stop now. He followed me for another 50 feet or so, then stopped and just stood there staring at me, he did not move until I rounded a corner. I sent my DS to see if he left. My DS was in hysterics! It really was fun, but as I said it did creep me out alittle. Best Birthday I EVER had!

Last summer my DD6 and I were sitting on the curb on Main St waiting for the Spectromagic Parade to begin. We happened to see a bird fly overhead really low and when he passed a guy who was sitting accross from us he let loose and it landed in the guy's shoe. To this day I cannot believe this was possible. I have never seen my DD laugh so hard. She began to laugh even harded whe the poor guy had to take off his shoe to clean himself up! I have to confess I was laughing too.:o

We were having a character breakfast at CP with our teenage children and their cousins and were sitting very close to the buffet table - we were enjoying all the little kids interacting with the characters (pooh, tigger etc) and then one very harried mom and her two little ones came up to the buffet - she was carrying a large bag, a small child and holding the hand of another one - the kids were all excited and kept changing their minds about what they wanted to eat and the one kept bugging his mom asking her if he should have this or that - finally the mom in a very tired, sort of droll sounding voice said - "here, have a waffle with pooh on it" We all cracked up.

This is such a fun thread!

On one trip we wound up on a bus that stopped at one of the water parks. As we're all waiting to see if anyone is gonna get on, we see this middle-aged guy, not in prime physical shape, running across the parking lot wearing nothing but a speedo and swim shoes. "Stuff" was flapping all over the place, not a pretty sight. As people on the bus caught sight of him one by one, the laughter just built and built. I will never forget it.

some may think this is gross:

back in 96' or 97' dd and myself really wanted to visit discovery island because we are both animal lovers. dw made it absolutely clear she had no interest in DI and went reluctently along. dw spent the entire time complaining and asking when we were going to get the heck out of there. mere seconds after making a comment about these "stupid birds"---and KABLAMM! a big splash of birdy doo right square on the noggin. dd and I have probably never before or since laughed so hard. needless to say, dw did not find the humor in the situation.

another time at MK; after signing autographs for the kids, goofy was goofing around and when he tried to jump over the chains, his foot got caught and down he went. he wasn't hurt or anything, so it was pretty funny.

not really funny, but a fun thing to do. trying to get in the background of as many peoples pictures as you can

This just happened two weeks ago at Epcot. I was standing in line with a friend of mine, her daughter, and my son at the American Gardens theater, waiting for the Country Show that they were taping with Billy Ray Cyrus. We were standing right across from the funnel cake stand, and there were a lot of birds around trying to get pieces that were being dropped. There were two people at the stand ordering, a husband and a wife. They got their funnel cakes, and the wife was carrying hers pretty far away from her, rather carelessly. The seagull that was flying around must have sensed it, because all of a sudden the bird flew in over her shoulder and attacked the plate. She jumped and spilled the powdered sugar over her blouse. We all burst out laughing...even though we felt bad for her. It was just the funniest sight seeing the bird come flying over her shoulder so fast.
Oh, I have another funny story too...this happened in 1995. I was pregnant, and couldn't go on the Tower of Terror, so my other son and I went down the chicken elevator while everyone else went on the ride. We were waiting for the elevator to come up, when about 5 foreigners got behind us -I think they ran out of the regular line, thinking this line was shorter. The elevator came, and the CM said to these people, "You don't want to go on the ride?" They said yes oh yes...in their foreign accent. I don't think they understood a word of English, but "yes". The CM told them, this is not the ride, this is an elevator down to the exit. All they said was "yes, oh yes" again. So we got on the elevator, and they kept talking amongst themselves in their language, looking confused. The CM was almost laughing, and kept cracking a smile at me and my son. We got off the elevator, and these people looked so confused. They followed me to where you sit by the photos coming up, and stood there for about 10 minutes trying to figure out what was going on while people came out off the ride screaming about it. They looked at the pictures of the people with a look that said I don't know what they look so scared about in the pictures. I still have to laugh about this every time I go on the Tower of Terror.

Family sitting on the ground near Big Thunder Mountain eating boiled eggs out of an egg carton.

Passing by Canada at Epcot and saying, " I smell gas (natural gas)...and not in a good way." .......don't ask me, I don't know what "smelling gas in a good way" could possibly be.

Riding on an ECV through the parks and coming up with the idea for a book called "The Butts of Disney" because that's mostly what you see from that vantage point. By the way, for some reason many people end up with just one cheek soaked after riding Splash Mountain. Wonder how many people have noticed THAT before.

Two of the funniest happened at the Haunted Mansion. Both on the same trip actually. In the dead center of the room a CM walked very quietly behind a woman and when he started his speech about the walls she screamed and jumped a foot. I was laughing so hard the CM had to struggle to keep a straight face.

The second was as we were exiting the HM. My DD had her birthday button on during e-night and a CM came up to her and in a very spooky voice wished her a happy Birthday. She jumped a foot! I'm seeing a pattern here. I guess I think it's funny to see others scared silly. LOL

Oh and another involved our own Mskanga, her king, and their band. There are pictures floating around. ;)

Many years ago we were at Epcot watching the "jumping fountains" near JIYI. This was new then and people were quite enthralled.

One very tall gentleman positioned himself with his camera at the end of one set of fountains. He was waiting for the jumping water to "jump" over his head so he could take a picture. We watched as the water jumped, jumped, jumped over to his end, then - splat - hit him right in the face (along with his camera that was poised to take the picture).

We still crack up over that!

During our last visit we ate at Sci Fi Drive In Theater and shared a car with a family. We were in the "back seat" and they were up front. They asked the CM to take their picture. They posed very nicely - not knowing that DH and I were making faces in the background and putting our fingers behind their heads to make antlers....

Well, we thought it was funny...and so did the CM!

A while back when I was 8 we went to the tot. we were standing in line inside when one of the phones ring. A cm picks it up.
" yes....yes......he's right here, Master Jonathan it's 4 u."
I was freaking out i grabbed the phone"Hello.....Hello."no answer of course.
I gave it back "Yes Yes ok he will be informed, buh bye."
" That was the spirt flight service, they sent your bags to Cleveland you should be reciving them ne ay now. Aparently they were scared of your powerfull voice."
"oh uhhhh thanks."

well, ours was at Disneyland Resort in Ca. It was Oct. 2001, a month after the tragedy of 9-11. We were walking down Main Street when my DH spotted a man who looked JUST LIKE Osama Bin Laden! He was a dead ringer for him! He was even wearing a turban. Anyway, my DH stood about a foot behind this poor man (without him noticing) and pointed at him while DS took a picture of them!!! I thought it was a little mean, but also a little funny. On the back of the pic my DH put " My Disneyland vacation with Bin Laden" . Isn't he awful?!?!;)

Next time your at the Animal Kingdom just sit down on a bench in the shade and watch the people eating the frozen bananas. You'll realize why its funny.

This happened on our last trip.My 9 yr old nephew got teased by his sister and my husband about been a chicken since he would not go on RnR.Trying to prove he was a tough guy he said he would go into Tower of Terror with them.Well, off they go and I stay behind with some friends. We go order some ice cream and by the time I get my ice cream I notice that Ale(my nephew) is standing next to me. I ask him where his uncle and his sister were and he said they were still inside, I figure they are looking at the pictures.Well, 10 minutes later they come out laughing and I notice that Ale kind of hides behind me.Here's the story Ale goes thru the ride and they are telling him how proud they are that he is actually going on this with them, the moment the elevator opens..he starts screaming "NO NO I'M NOT GOING IN THERE" by the time my husband turns around he says Ale is heading the oppossite direction (towards the entrance) and people are just getting out of his way laughing. My husband told me he's never seen anyone run so fast!!!......I wish I could of seen him...We teased him the entire trip about that.Being the good sport he is, he reinacted his reaction during the whole trip and cracked us all up!!!.:p

A young girl from the UK made it into the hot seat in Millionaire. The MC asked her what she was most looking forward to seeing at Disney World.

She said - "Universal Studios!"

Whoops.

Last time I was on Spaceship Earth, I managed to get a car behind group of teenage girls from Brazil. As soon as the car started to go up the lift hill in the dark they put their hands in the air and started screaming like they were on a roller coater. When they got to the top of he hill and into the scene with the cavemen, they suddenly got quiet and looked somewhat confused. Don't know if it's that funny the way I told it, but it struck me as funny at the time.
Another one happened when I was at the MouseGear shop at EPCOT. Anyone who have ever been to the shop knows there are windows and other things thrughout the shop that make noises and spout out Disney character voices. I was walking past a door that said "dressing room" when I heard a voice that I thought sounded like a Disney character- Daisy Duck or someone. Anyway, I stood there outside the door listening to the "spiel" when the door knob becan to move. I quickly realized that it was a real dressing room and ran away before the person came out the door. I'm just happy no one else was around. That would be embarassing if anyone saw me and thought I was some sicko that listens to girls in dressing rooms at WDW.

It was a cool day in December, and just got off Kali River Rapids. I went into a nearby restroom, and low and behold a man was holding his son, horizontal, underneath the hand dryer, drying off his soaking wet son! It was quite a sight!

This happened to my poor dh about 6 years ago. He had been behind the camera all day taking pictures of me. Well, we came across Timon, who is not my favorite character and I talked my dh into talking a picture with him, since he liked him better. Well, as my dh walked up to him and started to put his arm around Timon, he (Timon) rasied his arms forcing my husband to put his arm around Timons waist. Well, SHE squeeked!!! It was a girl in there!! Which makes sense considering how little the costume was but the funniest part was the look on my dh's face!! He turned to look at her with this look on his face and was as red as Ive ever seen anyone. It is my favorite picture of all time!!!

This last Dec., we were in Toon Town for closing time (6pm). One of the last things we did was Mickey's house and to see Mickey himself. The professional photographer was already gone and there wasn't a line. One other couple came into the room to see Mickey with us. My husband was wearing his Pirate Mickey Tshirt he bought at DL 10 years ago (his fave shirt, he wears it rarely so it won't wear out). The other man points to his shorts (same pirate mickey pattern) and my DH's shirt and says "We match!" all excited. My DH (who is a very serious looking lawyer) exclaims back "Wow, I've got to get me some of those!" about the shorts. Mickey loses it, rolls on the floor laughing, slapping his knees.....I've never seen such a thing. We all are laughing hard now because of Mickey and Mickey keeps it up for a longer time than I would have thought. Must have helped that there was no long line waiting to see him.

We did go over to Pirates to see about buying some shorts for DH and a new Pirate shirt. Alas, out of his size

In July 97 while waiting for Spectromagic Parade, a group of kids from Spain, all dressed similarly, would wait for someone to walk on Mainstreet and they would get in a line behind them and mimic them as they walked. Hundreds of people would be laughing and the person being followed didn't have a clue what was going on. It was great pre-parade entertainment.:jester:

I was sitting outside of Sir Mickey's (behind Cinderella's Castle) one afternoon during our December trip, waiting for DH to come out.
A HUGE beetle came out of the bushes, went down the side of the bricks that I was sitting on, and proceeded to try to make it over to the side where the Tinkerbell fountain is.
WELL!! There were bunches of people traveling in clusters, and I was watching the progress......
He was dodging traffic pretty well, going forwards and backwards trying to avoid people and cross the way. DH came out of Sir Mickey's, and I was giggling like an idiot- so he asked me what I was doing.
I told him that I was watching a beetle trying to make it across the traffic, and if he would make it. Now you have to realize that people were getting THIS CLOSE to stepping on him, and I was losing it rapidly. DH was also getting amused because of the proximity of feet to beetle, and we watched for another 10 minutes or so, when SQUISH..... and the poor thing went to beetle heaven. He was about 15 feet away, and you could hear the shell crack, and the fellow that stepped on him didn't even know that he'd committed murder!!!!
Just watching that darn beetle moving so strategically back and forward was amazing to watch!!!!!!

I guess it doesn't look too funny when I write it down, but we were really rooting for that beetle!!!

:p :p :p :p :p
