I am beginning a list of all the fun things to do in each DVC resort! I know there is a wealth of knowledge out there with all of US DVC'ers.......so please chime in!

One of the things I want to do when resort hopping is go horseback riding in FW! And rent bikes to tour the campground and resort area!

OH and the carriage ride in FW! I didnt even know they offered these! This is why I wanted to do this thread - I wonder who else didnt know about this?

Does no one else want to have fun with me?

last September I booked the Segway off-road tour at Fort Wilderness for my DH. We had the BEST TIME.

Don't forget about boat rentals at the resorts on Bay Lake and Seven Seas lagoon. You can rent the small Sea Racers or a pontoon boat to take the whole family out to explore the lakes, resorts and the Magic Kingdom area.

The surrey bikes around BW and BC/YC are a family favorite.

Don't forget the campfire sing along with Chip and Dale at FW. Whenever we stay at VWL we go over. Love the smores kit.
We had a lot of fun at the pool at BLT with the trivia and contests for the kids, it was really well done.
Took my son on the searaycer from CR. It was great to get a close up look at Discovery Island. Brought back memories of going there as a kid. It was a little sad to see it in such disrepair. When I got home I went through old pictures to show my son what it was like in the 70's.

we will be going the first week in November, as my 40th birthday is the 4th!

We may be arriving on the 31st but it's just me and DBF and I was thinking of spending the week resort hopping, enjoying the amenities at all the resorts and getting to know our home resort (OKW) since it will be the frist time staying there.

Anyone out there know which segway tour is better Epcot or FT Wilderness? I would like to surprise DH for his B.day when we go so I am going to book one or the other. How ling is it. My friend told me she did the Epcot one and LOVED it, she said they cruised through the countries.

I'm not sure which is better and am thinking hard on the EPCOT one since I think it may appeal to him more. I know from research that it is 2 hours long with the first hour is for training. Go here to check out all the tours offered:

There is also a segway tour of Celebration (but it's done by an outside company) that is supposed to be very good.
