Oh man, that Aladdin show was THE BEST! I understand the need to change, but I will miss it. I was hoping to catch it on a trip to Anaheim in the near future, but I don't think I'll get there before January.

Agreed! I thought the Aladin show was the best stage show I've seen in DL or WDW.

If Disney made any sense, Aladin would move into the new theater being built in DHS.

Disney caved to pressure from locals in 2010 when they proposed changing Aladdin to a Toy Story musical. I have to think they know the response this will have and are prepared to see it through this time. :(

Hey if California doesn't want it bring it to Florida............I betcha it would be a hit!

I don't really have any problem with a Frozen show per se (I like Frozen as much as Aladdin at any rate), but what I know is that the Aladdin show is great and has set a very high bar that they will have to meet or surpass in order for this to not feel like a downgrade. I will certainly miss the Aladdin show though.

I love, love, love the movie Frozen. I really do.

But, Disney is becoming a Frozen theme park, and that is completely unnecessary. A few attractions, OK. But, I would totally rather
see an Aladdin show than a Frozen one. :(

I dunno, are they really becoming all Frozen? They have, at WDW, one Frozen M&G, one Frozen sing along show, and one upcoming Frozen Dark Ride. Each of those is in a different park. At DL they have the M&G and sing along and I think that's it (upcoming musical aside). There's the castle lighting ceremony at WDW as well.

One could just as well say Star Wars is taking over, because it's easily going to have that much representation once the lands open.

Don't forget the Frozen Summer at DHS where they had shows, a parade, fireworks, special treats, Frozen add-on event, and even special frozen drinks. Also, don't forget the addition of Frozen to MVMCP last year. You also forgot the Frozen Fever showing at DHS. Oh, and changing the stave church to Frozen inside. Then there is the Frozen float added to MK parade and the Frozen section of the Castle show. Am I forgetting anything?

Oh yeah, how can I forget about all the Frozen merchandise that's everywhere.

Despite the "hatred" for all things Frozen .. i am sure we all would love it if other beloved Disney movies would get attractions as fast as Frozen did after their movie.

I'm still disappointed I missed a Baymax Meet & Greet this summer .. the only thing that movie got and it only last 7-8 months in the parks.

Well, I'm not really counting the temporary stuff, and parade floats is something that everyone is getting representation on. Tangled has a parade float too. Frozen Summer fun is no different than Star Wars Weekends when SW takes over, and that only affects DHS. Obviously, Frozen is hot right now, so why not include it?

Because Frozen is so oversaturated in every park. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Frozen "something"! Per the "Star Wars Weekend" thing - that's for Fri/Sat/Sun for like, four/five weeks? There is one dedicated Star Wars store, and some merch in "space" related stores. Star Wars Weekends was never extended because there was so much $$ to be squeezed out of - err, demand for it. Although, Star Wars land is coming to Disney coast to coast. However, like it or not, Star Wars is a multi-movie-well respected franchise that has won multiple Academy Awards, spawned hundreds of careers for people in both acting/effects/and directing - spawned the Indy Jones franchise and has many more successes.

Frozen? Basically an animated pitch for a Broadway musical.

(Sorry, went a little OT for a second...but both Aladdin and Star Wars are far more worthy of their respective places and positions)

Nobody, including Disney, had any inkling of the phenomenal impact that Frozen was going to have on most kids and many adults.

If Disney did NOT take advantage of it, they'd be nuts!

The audience keeps clamoring for more.

The Aladdin show was good, sad to see that go. It all does seem excessive really between everything in relation to Frozen. This didn't happen to anywhere near this extent when they had hit movies in the '90s, with the possible exception (if you include all the more recent stuff) of Beauty and the Beast. Just since this is the first huge hit for a while (although Wreck it Ralph which has almost no representation also did really well) they're going completely overboard for Frozen at the expense of other good attractions
