The fountains

Has anybody stayed at the fountains on international drive, do you have any pics and is there much construction going on

We stayed at the fountains last year in March, It was very nice. We were in the building right across from the main checkin area and pool. The pool was great. It had an area that was covered with a bar and then the other half was outside. They had activities for the kids. I don't remember being bothered by any construction noise.

We stayed there in January of 2005 and enjoyed it very much! We stayed in the older section, but I think they refurbished as everything looked new. Our daughter loved the pool! They have a lot of activities for the kids. It's not too far to WDW or Seaworld.

My family stayed in a 2 bdrm in April of '05...very nice pool area which we used throughout. We also tate at the restaurant and had a very nice meal.

What is the pool like? We would be going with two kids ages 11 and 8. Is there a slide? Is is deep? Do you remember how far it is from US/IOA? Sorry for all of the questions.

They were working on it when we were there in 2005, but haven't heard if it was done yet or not.

Anyone ever send a box ahead of time to the fountains ?? We are going in March and I am not sure if they allow it ??

Just got back on 4/2/07 from stay at the Fountains. The indoor/outdoor pool was nice. No slides. They have a zero depth kiddie pool and 2 hot tubs. They are building a new pool with slides but are a long way off. We stayed in building 3 and had no problem with construction noise.

Great Location! Right across from Vistana Villages. We booked via Orbitz and had no trouble.

After this experience it is going to be hard to return to a hotel room.
