The Fort made the Passporter Newsletter

Nice...:thumbsup2 Thanks for posting the link.

They seemed a little mixed up re. where the trail ride is and where Pioneer Hall is, though.

Thanks for posting the link.

It's a nice little article. But, it sounds like the author just took to boat over from the Contemporary, walked around the Settlement area, and headed back.

This paragraph struck me as a bit over the top (and inaccurate):

Nearby, one of the other buildings is home to the Settlement Trading Post, which sells a wide variety of items, including basic groceries and some completely unique souvenirs that we saw only at Fort Wilderness during our stay. It's a cavernous place with a really high roof and it's worth looking up to see the theming that's gone in here.

The Settlement Trading Post is cavernous? Really? Not so much to me.:confused3

Completely unique souvenirs only available at Fort Wilderness? Really? Has the author ever visited the WL gift shop? Or any other resort gift shop on property? I wonder what these unique souvenirs could be?:confused3

I kind of had the idea they read a description of FW and did exactly what TCD said, then wrote the article about it. My guess is they were there less than an hour.

I thought the same thing. The author didn't venture very far.

I agree. If I wasn't already a Fort addict, the article wouldn't have given me much gumption to go check it out.

I wonder if they know there are camp sites there too with tents, trailers and RVs - that part seems to have completely escaped them Well, their next article will be about SoG - but they may have a hard time getting in there.

Not to mention two pools, another trading post (which I think is better than the one they saw), cabins, tennis courts, an outdoor movie, etc, etc, etc.
