The Flying Unicorn

Its a kiddie coaster. It is my nephew's (7) favorite ride.

It's a kiddie coaster but it's a pretty intense kiddie coaster. I've ridden it numerous times and like it. ;)

It's a good bridge between "kiddie" coaster and "bigger" coaster....I have a pic of it somewhere...lemme find it & I'll post :teeth:

I'm also curious about this one. Is it about like Goofy's Barnstormer? Bigger or smaller?

Thanks

I think both Barbstormer and Woody's coaster are way rougher than this one... The Flying Unicorn swoops around very nicely. It is a great coaster, one of our favorites.

This ride has very, very, very low capacity. If you would like to ride it, get there immediately upon park opening. Fastpasses are not applicable for this ride. Adults must ride with a child to be able to ride. This keeps the lines down.

Not for the Flying Unicorn? My kids use the express all the time. You thinking of Pteranadon Flyers?

The kids and adults loved the Flying Unicorn. We rode it 4 times in a row on July 7th and didn't need our Express Passes. I would imagine that there is not usually much of a wait. The ride is longer that Woody and Goofy.

Oooh, that sounds nice! How about height of hills/drops? Are they any bigger than Goofy? My dd 3.5 loves Goofy's, Gadget's (at DL) and every smaller kiddie coaster she's been on, and is often heartbroken that she can't go on the big coasters, so I'm hoping it's a little bigger than Goofy's.

Thanks again.

You can use EP for FU....our crew rode it 5X in a row and the lady sitting on the rocks nearby (with us non-riders) asked how our crew rode so many times while she was waiting for her crew's ONE ride.....(had to explain room key w/ fotl... :rotfl: )

Here's two pics I took:

I've never had a kid with me when I rode Flying Unicorn. There's also an Express line.

great coaster, except for the hard brakes at the end

Oh shoot. Ya, I read too quickly. I definitely was refering to Pteranadon Flyers. Sorry everyone, please disregard any bad information that I gave!!! [Insert your choice of stupid smilie here]

Here are a few photos...I thought I had more:

My favorite photo: A Wizard's hearth! Listen for the Bad Faeries!

A view from the top!

I love this "coaster" and so do my girls. It's on the level of Runaway Train at MK, but the Unicorn isn't as long.

I made DH ride it while we were there on our honeymoon. It was pretty funny, being that I am not that small, and DH is definitely Pooh sized! :rotfl: I thought it was so much fun! Not as fun as Barnstormer, but still fun. I will be taking our DD on in next year. Doubt if DH will ride again!

Absolutely useless tidbit:

You can ride Unicorn exactly 12x in a row (with FOTL) while the rest of your party rides Fire and then Ice (also with FOTL).

By the time those 12 rides are over, you will NEVER get that little rhyme out of your head. You will be mumbling about lions roaring and preparing to soar for the rest of your vacation
