The flu

Some of you might know, I have a little sister. She can mostly be found on the VMK boards. A few days ago, she had the 48 hour flu. The ahces, fever, the whole deal. Now, heres my problem. I am starting to get it now. I have the aches and a small fever. I don't want to miss school. I hate missing school. I took aleve when I got up, and it brought my fever down some, but did really nothing for the aches.

Have any of you had the flu this year??
How much school did you miss??

I haven't had the flu,
but I had the stomach virus ysterday.
And my mom's making me stay home today too.

I'm only missing today and yesterday.
I plan on being in school tomorrow.
Well, sorta...school starts at 10 tomorrow and I have a field trip tomorrow xD

I hate missing school too! Last week, I had pneumonia and had to be hospitalized . I missed a whole week of school! So I had 5 make-up tests and then the Quarter tests! 10 tests! Luckily, they arranged it for me so I would take the 10tests in two weeks. Of those 10 tests, I have already taken 2. I have 2 tomorrow.( science and math- continues Friday: very long!) I think , not sure, that the pneumonia started woth a flu. At leat it felt like the flu so I missed two days of school the week before I was hospitalized.

Thank god.

I'm mostly afraid of catching the Norwalk virus. It last for two days, and you're basically spewing from both ends. I wouldn't be able to handle that. It's mostly found at Universities where people live close together...
Which makes me afraid to go live on campus in a few years xD

I had the flu about 2 weeks ago. I miss two days of school.

I had the flu i missed 3 days. But don't worry it's not a big deal i hate missing school too who doesn't but getting some rest is better than feeling bad and going home in embarresment. Just remember

I haven't been sick (like stay at home for the day sick) in 6+ years.

I'm sorry, the flu sounds like it sucks. :\

I've had the flu probably 5 times in my life.
It's been about 2 years since I last had the flu.
I don't get sick very easily.
Maybe a day in bed every once in awhile but nothing major.
