the first thing you do at the parks...

Always go to the MK first since that is how it all started. I head straight for the POTC. Becasue that was the very 1st ride I went on for my very first trip to WDW when I was 7yrs old. Try to keep the tradition going.

My DS12 and I always head to MGM on the first day. Depending on lines, we get FP for RNR and then head to the line for TOT.

Funny.....this is how we spend our last day too.

When we go to Mk i always have to go on Splash Mountain this year i did it as my first ride but usually we have to go to Fantasyland first

Rockin' Roller Coaster!!
1st thing we do on our trip and we try to do this last also.
We almost missed our shuttle back to the airport on one trip 'cuz we had to ride it one more time!!

Well - We always go to MK on the first day... Unless we get in late - then we go to Downtown Disney!

First ride at each park are:
MK - Haunted Mansion...
AK - Dinosaur...
Epcot - Spaceship Earth, unless the wait is super long...
MGM - fastpass RnRC, straight to TOT

it is a tradition to begin the trip with POTC, followed by a great meal at California Grill!

We try and begin with the newest attraction that we have never been on.

Magic Kingdom - My sister and I get a picture of the two of us together in front of the Castle, I tear up looking at the Castle/hearing the music/watching the little children, then bolt right over to Pirates. Pirates is the first and last ride of every trip, no matter what. Then it's off to Frontierland for Splash Mountain. Pirates and Splash tie for my favorites.

Epcot - Hold my sister back from running to Mission: Space and drag her on Spaceship Earth. I love the smell of Rome, I'm sorry!

MGM - FP ToT and get in line for Rock N' Roller Coaster, then FP Rock N' Roller Coaster and get in line for ToT!

Animal Kingdom - I don't really care what I do first at this park, because there's only 2 things and they're Dinosaur and Kilimanjaro Safaris. When the new roller coaster opens I'm sure that that will be the first thing I'll do at AK.

Since DH is now over 50, the first stop is the Little Boys room, followed by an argument and trip to lockers over whether to stash the bag with the ponchos, umbrellas, etc, followed by the trip to the gift cart for another autograph pen since DD a. lost, b. broke c. ??? the one she had when we started out for the morning. Then an argument with said DD over NOT getting in line right then to get autographs from the first characters we lay eyes on.

Then a pause to look at the castle or big golf ball to restore good cheer and Disney karma.
