The financially irresponsible WDW trip! [June 25th: p.45, posts 668 & 669]

Hi Deb! I have enjoyed catching up on your report! I'm sorry your meal at H&V was not the best (not to be picky, but it's Jojo, not Dora). We had a similar thing happen at Crystal Palace, believe it or not. I haven't gotten to it yet in my trippie, but I totally understand how frustrated you felt! And oh my, Alice is getting cuter and cuter as the trip goes on. I wouldn't have thought it was possible! :goodvibes

Wow, Deb, you read my mind! I've been checking in every so often and *poof*, not 1 but 2 wonderful installments! Whoo HOO!!
I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing meal at H&V. I booked this for breakfast on our next trip. I hope it gets better!
Love the photo of Alice and DH. She's such a beauty!

I'm looking forward to reading about Tony's as I've booked this one as well!;)

thanks for sharing! :hippie:

(not to be picky, but it's Jojo, not Dora)

Oh my God! I have finally turned into my mother! :lmao: Thank you so much for pointing that out or it would be there for months until it dawned on me! I remember when I was a kid it bugged me so much when my mother would get the name of my favourit t.v. character, musician etc mixed up. And here I am doing it! lol!! I think it's the hair colouring of those two that confused me!

Thanks for understanding about the frustration at the character meal. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at CP - I'm looking forward to reading about it. Hmmm, I just realised that sounds really callous - preying on your misfortune for my reading pleasure. :lmao:

Shark - Oh man, that woman gets around. lol!! I wasn't really brave - I got the vibe from her that, despite her terrible mood and crankiness, she'd be able to take a joke. Sounds odd considering I didn't know her but you know when you get a vibe? Believe me if I thought for a second she'd get mad at me, I'd have cried!! Thanks for the kind words Shark! :)

duncanssweetie - Such thoughtful words, thanks!!!! I'm so pleased you're still here.

Ricky's Girl - I'll adopt you if I can move to your house in America!! :woohoo: :thumbsup2 You're a gem, thanks for the kind words. I dunno about "amazing mom" though - I'm always chasing my tail but hopefully the kids won't need too much therapy because of me - I need the therapy money for Disney!!!!! Oh, that spot for the parade was the best! It was shady there - you'll notice in the photos that people across the road from us had the sun in their eyes but we had a bit of shade. Also, it's where the parade starts so you get to see it first and then move on!!

Disneyland_Mama Yeah!! You're still here too. I'm delighted. I think the main problem with H&V was the 'invisibleness' of one mom and a small child compared to the many large groups around us. If you're going as a family you're sure to be spotted. And if JoJo and the servers go missing you can look for them while you're looking for Waldo. :teeth:

Deb - If I tell you we're seriously thinking about moving to Florida this year will that seal the deal? :lmao:

Wow, thanks for the reports! :goodvibes

You know that area between Star Tours and the Muppets? I can't get my head around it. I like it. It intrigues me. The theming is wonderful. But, for some reason, no matter how often I walked it, I lost my bearings each and every time.

Whoa--I know the feeling--I lose my way in that whole area at the "back" of MGM. And I don't know why, as I am really rather good at directions in general. :lmao:

BTW-- love those pictures!!!

How does Alice get cuter in every segment???

I was so happy to get 2 more installments today!!!

 Im so thankful for a new installment. You really made my day!! Now, try not to take so long on the next:lmao: Good job!

So glad you are back:banana: You are one of my favorite posters, wonderful pictures and stories. Thanks for all the pictures it justs brings Disneyworld alive. Your family is great and Alice is the most precious little thing I've seen in along time.

Keep up the good work:goodvibes

Sue - Oh I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets lost in the Muppets/Star Tours triangle. It looked so easy on the map. :confused3 :thumbsup2

tiggerbell - Thanks! I really appreciate you sticking with me! :wave2: I just went to check out your most recent Trip Report and as soon as I saw Page one I remembered reading the first few pages of it and loving it but then I disappeared off the boards for a while!! Yes, I remember laughing out loud at those pics on Page 1 and really enjoying your style. At the time I had a tendency to print off new chapters of my favourite trip reports (which I did with yours) and the downside of that is that it makes posting a comment awkward as I would read them offline. I wish I had commented now cause I enjoyed it so much whereas now it looks like I'm only saying it cause you like my one. :rotfl2: :lmao: I'm so looking forward to reading the entire thing as I had, as I say, lost track of it! [OMG, do I ramble or what!]

Ricky's Girl - Hee hee thanks, you are too kind! Sorry about the keyboard! No allowance for you for the next few weeks til you've paid for a new keyboard. :thumbsup2

teslaaunt - I promise I won't take as long this time. :lmao: Thanks for the kind words!

Nanb - Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment - especially when the comments are so flattering. If they were mean ones, you could've kept them! :lmao:

jmw001 - Welcome! And thanks a million! :wave2:

MOM! No fair - I'm telling dad! :lmao: Wait a minute! I get an allowance?

oh most excellent post! are you sure you are not my identical twin??!!

love your writing style, humor and family already!

can't wait to read more.

wonderful new installments!!! What a terrific spot you had for the MGM parade! That is the one parade we are planning on doing on our upcoming trip so I am happy to read you liked it. And my goodness, Alice is such a sweetie pie, she really does get cuter every picture!:)

I love that picture of your husband and daughter -- so cute!

And you got a Beaker at the shop....perfection!!!! :goodvibes

It sounds like a completely exhausting but really fun trip. I'm coming with you next time, 'kay? :yay:

Ricky's Girl - Your allowance is productivity-based. In other words, the more you flatter me with comments, the more money you get. ;)

kileybeth - Welcome!! :) I'm so glad you're reading!! Thanks for the kind words!

mom2aandj - Thanks a million! I'm glad you're choosing the MGM parade! They were all good but we enjoyed this one the most! And definitely head towards Star Tours (if you can find your way, lol!) for the best spot!

zigzagzerr - Hey!! Thanks!! Ah yes, my Beaker!! :cloud9: Look out for photos of Beaker in an upcoming chapter - be still my beating heart! :lmao:

I was so excited to see 2 new installments, :yay: this is how I am spending my 9th wedding anniversary, reading your trip report, but I love it, it's just like going to the movies, except the pop corn is free popcorn:: I can't wait for more. your boys are so cute and Alice is adorable. my kids are in their teens, I miss my DD Reese at Alices age, so innocent.

Ricky's Girl - Your allowance is productivity-based. In other words, the more you flatter me with comments, the more money you get. ;)

Wow! Easiest money I've ever earned!:cheer2:
Now get busy with your next installment so I can heap more praise your way.:rotfl2: I need the money! :rotfl:
I've switched to popcorn:: doesn't spew as bad as coffee.:surfweb:
So I'm ready for ya.

Wow, I've just found this trip report and have read all 17 parts between last night and today :surfweb: . DH is ready to have me committed with the amount of time I've spent on the boards today  .

I've loved reading along and can't wait for more :rolleyes1 ! I admire those that manage to get their reports written, I come home every time determined to put one on paper but have yet to do so. :worship:
