Hmmm... I'm pretty sure our vote goes to Wall-E.

Mr. Potato Head might have a bum full of accessories, but that is also a liability - his bum container is full!

Wall-E, on the other hand, has an empty belly hole perfect for smuggling leftover desserts out of TS restaurants to enjoy later...

This should give the cute little robot a decided advantage in head to head dining ranking versus the spudmeister.

The really good news is we didn't lose him on our field trip to DL.

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure our vote goes to Wall-E.

Can't believe I missed this yesterday...darn real life interfering again..

They all have so many pros and cons....

Wall-E, while very useful for his storage capacity, makes for a less than exciting conversationalist unless your name is Eve.

Chewie, who while no doubt could get you any walk-up table you wanted, including Le Cellier and CRT, would probably not be able to go on many of the rides since his head would likely be smashed against the truss supports (he is over 9 feet tall after all).

Ash would no doubt be able to get you to the head of the lines with no problem....but I think you would definitely get held up by security when trying to enter the park thanks to that chainsaw.

Uter would no doubt be up for trying any dessert offered at the festival booths.....but then he would probably snatch away any dessert that you ordered as well.

And Mr.Potato Head would be lots of fun on the rides since he can change his expression for each one....but I think that they might not let him off the boat ride in The Land because they might think he was trying to make a break for it.

The first contestant to be eliminated on America's Next Top Mascot is:

Mr. Potato Head

Sadly, Mr. Potato Head is just too small to be easy to take pictures of, when it envolves a large background. Additionally, sometimes his little keyring makes him go a bit off balance, and his face parts falls off in my bag and I have to search for his ear. I also think that due to his size and fragility that having him interact with characters like Mickey would be problematic.

This was not an easy decision (I am a woman w/ Salt and Pepper shakers that are Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, so he is a favorite of mine) but there are many weird little toys in my house that didn't even make finalist, so he should be proud.

Authors Note: I did many photographs around Fantasyland, and these are the best ones for each Mascot. Infact for all of the "challenges" throughout the week all of the contestants participated, so their elimination is not based solely on one photo, but actually on a cumulative portfolio. I have to be comfortable working with them in all scenarios. It just seems more fun to post it this way. Hope I didn't destroy the fantasy of it for you.

He was just too little. I had a hard time taking quality photos of him. He's still safe and sound on my computer desk, though. (And with my mini Mrs. Potato Head too)

I have to vote against Chewie. While I think his "abilities" would make him a stand out, I worry about spills and such with his fur.

Cleanliness IS next to Godliness you know... I am afraid, with all that food around, he'd be a mess in a second.

I also have to vote against Ash. While I find him cute and cuddly, He just doesn't work at Disney... Too.... I don't know... Harsh?

Ash

Disney is a family theme park, and the boom stick doesn't really go with that. Ash had difficulty holding props and interacting with his environment. He was just always ready to kick some undead butt, and not really wanting to go on Splash Mountain.

He will be staying at home with the Spouse, whilst I'm in WDW. Frankly if the Zombie apocalypse happens while I'm in WDW, the Spouse is going to need the help without me there. Things are better this way.
