The Fatten'em Plan: A Trip Report w/ pics

Cass--Thanks so much for a wonderful report! Can't wait to read your next one! It was so fun to live vicariously through your spectacular trip!
We were at Disney Dec 2-9, and while I enjoyed all the Christmas-y stuff, I think I prefer October, because traveling in Dec really messed up my Christmas preparations! I felt totally slammed by everything I had to get done when I got back. How did you do it?!?
Anyway, your trip sounded wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing! :)

Hooray! What a fantastic trip! Thank you SO SO much for sharing with us Cass! :goodvibes

I dream and daydream about Disney trips SO often, and your TR report has helped keep my dreams alive! :cloud9:

Thanks again for sharing the magic... :wizard:

Hi TiggerAllie, yep you got me there. Travelling just before Christmas puts the pressure on to have all the shopping done, decorations up at home. We were back on the night of the 19th and I had a fair amount to do to get set for Christmas at my Sisters on the 24th.

I told Noel the trip was her Birthday and Christmas present so not to expect a thing Christmas morning. I stuck to my word, there was nada, zip, except for some chocolates and a new toothbrush (family tradition!)

I would like to go for the Hallowe'en party some time!

Hi Wazzo! thanks for reading!

Hi Wazzo! thanks for reading!
MNSSHP is awesome! I think better than MVMCP... and there is F&W at Epcot as well... plus the weather is so much nicer, the parks have later hours...

Not that I can complain about our Dec trip... I think it may have been our best yet! (yes, I will eventually get my trippie done....)

We have to ;) go to Hawaii in Sept for for a cousin's wedding, so that may cut down on the # of Disney trips (one only has so much vacation), but I'm still hoping to get to WDW for a wk in late Oct.
and in June for Star Wars Wknd.... ;)

Oh you poor thing, having to go to Hawaii ;)

Where did I leave my violin?

LOL

Wow, Cass - your Fatten'em Plan trip is awesome! I haven't made it through the whole TR yet - it's great so far! - but I just had to post.

I went to casshew.com and noticed you have a reef tank! Come visit me sometime on thereeftank.com it's a very friendly place to talk about corals and fish. :)

When you wish upon a star....... (or I hit the lottery) I'm following your report step by step (well without the nasty cab driver and loosing my traveling companions of course :lmao: )

Awesome resport Cass it was really a joy to read :goodvibes

I must say again what a great TR, I've just checked out your website OMG it must have taken you hours it's brilliant and so well done. How well travelled is Noel, in years to come she will have to find a rich husband to keep her in the way shes been accustomed too :rotfl: We were in Scotland whilst you cruised past it was freezing wasn't it? Thank goodness it's back to WDW this summer but it was DH's request and sometimes we have to keep them happy.

Can't wait to read future TR's you write so well and do so much.

 It's not like it's a free trip or anything.... :P

And, it's cutting into my Disney time! I have to make sure I get in enough trips after July to justify renewing my AP! ;)
:rolleyes1

Not sure my budget would stretch to that but could you post the link anyway

Hi Cass,

thanks for the wonderful trip report, it was great fun reading it!! I found it very interesting to hear about your taxi experience which besides the "Sir" one seemed to be great. I had been thinking about using taxis a few times on our trip, so its good to know that generally this is working fine. Do you still remeber how much it was to go to Downtown Disney?

Wonderful trip report :goodvibes I am now really excited for my first stay at AKL :dance3:

Thanks and I know you'll have a great time!

I'll dig it up and post it on the DLRP forum :)

Thanks Minnie :cloud9:

I just caught up on your fantastic TR! :goodvibes It's one of the best trip reports I have ever read! I know what you mean about AKL conceirge... while I am happy DVC is building villas at AKL, I don't want them to get rid of the wonderful 5th floor lounge!!! We've stayed AKL concierge twice and absolutely loved it both times!

Thanks again for sharing your WDW vacation with us! :thumbsup2

Take care,
Michelle

Cass - I just finished reading day one of your trip report. I'm hooked and can't wait to read the rest but my DD is waiting to use the computer so I'll have to come back and finish later.

I can't believe your friend didn't look for her birth certificate sooner. You guys were lucky!!!!!!

What a great surprise for your DD

Cass - a couple quick questions. BTW I loved your report and really can't wait to get to disney.

For the Fantasmic seating do you know if it is the same as the Fantasmic dinner package seating or was it completely different? The main reason I ask is b/c I have heard of the dinner package seating filling up quickly and maybe there wouldn't be room if we are with those people too.

Snack question which you might not be able to answer since it didn't work right for you. I'm pretty sure the brochure (at least for 07) says its food and drink item for the snack. Was that how it worked when you were there?
