Here is a long overdue update, Wow! I hadn't realized how long it has been.

Saturday, May 8th


We didn't get up as early as I hoped to but We got to the food court for breakfast at around 9:30 or 10am. I don't remember it being too crowded. Tim had the egg sandwich and a bagel and I had the Bounty Platter, I forget what that included, but that's what it says in my notes!

I took these couple pics during the walk to breakfast. I really liked this resort, it is so pretty and such a nice little walk every day over the bridge and by the pool to get to/from our room

Our plan was to go to the Magic Kingdom, where I wanted to go on Peter Pan since we didn't get on that in our other trips there and it's one of my Favorites, I couldn't imagine going home tomorrow and not getting on Peter Pan at least once. There was a thought of going to AK for a ride on the Safari but we weren't sure there would be time.

Headed over to Peter Pan and looked for Fast passes, they had 2 or 3pm return times and we planned to be out of there by then. I think the stand by line said 30 minutes so we got in line. Well it took a lot longer than 30 minutes, closer to an hour! I guess the fast pass part of the line was pretty full because that's where the stoppages in the line were, when they would let a LOT of the fast pass people go then like one or two stand bys. I saw this guy in line, thought it was crazy with all his pins:

After Peter Pan Tim decided he wanted to have another go on Buzz Lightyear so we headed towards Tomorrowlans. But frst we took a Detour...

Then I took a couple pics of the murals on the walls for the Fantasyland Expansion, I guess this will be where the Little Mermaid Attraction will be.

Is this the Beauty and the Beast castle? I think I heard there is supposed to be a Restaurant there.

We got to Buzz and the fast pass return was about 30 minutes away but the stand by line was 30 minutes too so we just got in line, only waited about 20 minutes. Here is a pic I took of our ride pic, it's not that great but I'll put it up anyway.

I didn't score too well on this one, I don't remember the actual score but it was bad, I think my gun was broken (that's what I told myself anyway, LOL)


I think it was about 2:00 by this time and we had done all we came to do at the MK, We figured there wouldn't be time to go to another park before we had to be at the Coral Reef at 7 with waiting on the busses, etc and whatever lines there would be at that park so we just hopped on the monorail to EPCOT. We did take our time going back down Main Street and I took a few Pics on the way out.

I thought this was different but pretty in this shop window, I don't remember what shop this was

I actually did see the Famed "Tronorail" a few times, usually at Epcot ( I guess they probably kept it on the Epcot track due to the theme, etc) and I thought I had taken at least one pic of it but I guess I didn't.

Great installment! I love your pictures of the topiaries (that I obviously can't spell at 12:30 am but I'm on my hubby's MAC and don't know how to spell check).

I too have had trouble with a malfunctioning gun on Buzz. Must be a common problem. Wonder why I keep getting that one?

Looks like you had an action packed day with two parks. Thanks for sharing

DH and I really had hoped to get my FIL to WDW but unfortunately that won't happen. My MIL has agreed to go next year with SIL/BIL, though so we got 1/2 of our wish!
