The FABULOUS Cruella at DCA !!

Hi everyone ! Just back from DCA yesterday where we had a great time! Took my two daughters and Cruella was definitely the highlight of their day!
When she saw my 23 yr old's leopard purse, her eyes got big as saucers and she held it and made a big deal over it and asked "How many did it take?"
She made the funniest faces and talked in her "Cruella" voice...Definitely totally in character...If you love some fun with characters (but younger kids may be scared tho) check her out at DCA's Hollywood Backlot !
She's hilarious !!

We saw her at DL that last time we were there, out by the flag pole by main street. She was quite a character (wonder if it was the same woman).

I had fun with Cruella back in December. My husband and I were vacationing with friends, and we were heading to the Monsters Inc. soft opening. I saw characters out in that area and decided to grab some autographs while they did the attraction.

Cruella and I had a nice conversation about all the puppies in Pennsylvania. I finished up getting the autographs and was sitting outside Monsters Inc. waiting for the rest of my group. They came out just about the same time the characters were going in. My friend, Angela, spotted Cruella and tried to get her to come over to me (she specifically mentioned my name). Cruella responded, "Oh, I know Rita."

My FI had a great time with her a couple years ago. She was hilarious! He wanted a picture with her and she made him stand behind her and she spread her arms out so that you could barely see him and told me TAKE THE PICTURE! It was great!

Here is a pic of Kelly & her friend Brandi when they used to wear their Tigger & Pooh ears to the parks.

Cruella simply went dog crazy over those ears and was caressing them - it was so funny.

Cruella is great. They put the glam Cruella in DCA and the crazy hair, spaz one over in Disneyland. I actually saw Cruella chasing a little girl with a huge lollipop in and out of the shops on main street. she wanted that lollipop! It was great!

That is def. one thing that seperates Disneyland from WDW. The characters are so much more qualified and amazing. There is a great Mary Poppins that sings in Town Square. She is wonderful!

That's just amazing to me that the CMs get so into their character! I'm sure it makes the job a lot more fun for THEM, and what a HOOT for the guests!!! I can't wait to go! Six more weeks...

I look forward to seeing her when we go to DL in June! This sort of reminds me of a Queen of Hearts CM at WDW, who really got into her role. She would walk around the Fantasyland area, "shooing" the crowds aside. It was awesome. One couple desperately wanted a picture with her, and practically had to beg her, while she sort of looked aside, acting embarassed. Finally, the couple got the picture and said goodbye to her, and she "shooed" them away. It was a classic moment. Sounds like Cruella is equally as engaging in her performance.

We visited DL/DCA last in December 2004, and Cruella was absolutely fantastic. Most of the characters are great, but she was amazingly naughty.

One of her little tricks was to *steal* the pens from the children after giving an autograph. The child would present paper and pen to her to autograph, and after signing she would give back the paper, but try to steal the pen.
