Hi

I went to DW for the first time last year and loved it. It was a trip of a life time. I went with my Mum and Dad, Hubby and 3 daughters.

We all has such a fantastic time. The weather, the food, the places, the people, you name it, we loved it.

On our return I got the blues, I was missing DW. Remembering walking up to Cinderellas castle and watching the look on my youngests face (7 at the time). I t was pure magic.

Anyway I got so "down" :sad2: from not being there my hubby told me to go ahead and book one for this year. Yippee. I booked in May 06 and saved nearly £2000 for all 7 of us to go again. I found a company and barttered, it worked.

Now, I have been okay up until today. I've tried not to think of it too often as it always seemed so far away. But today at work I got so excited I wanted to get up and run around laughing - not the kinda thing you expect in a Government office :rotfl2:

I fly from Manchester on the 7th of April - 8 sleeps!!! The excitment building up is intense. I'm worse thant my kids at Christmas. How I will sleep I don't know.

I'm guessing this is normal for most people on this forum. But for those of you who have been so many times (and I want to visit next year too, and the year after....) I wanted to know does the magic ever go? I hope not. I wanna feel like this when I'm 70!!!!

Love to hear how excited other get.

Enjoy your next trip, I can't wait for the next 8 weeks to fly by :cheer2: :cheer2:

Like you Iam so excited. I am going with my Mum, dh and my two little girls (4 and 19mo). Only myself and dh have been before so its going to be like seeing it through fresh eyes.
I must say we only spent half a day at MK first time around so I am really looking forward to that and AK for them. DH and I love MGM. We are doing princess storybook lunch on our first day, like you, can't wait to see their faces.
As soon as the girls go to bed and my chores are done I'm on the planning sites or on here. I even bought a pda with web access on a decent screen and keyboard so I can use web in bed whilst DH uses the pc as he was complaining he wasn't getting a look in (works from home as well! whoops)
Didn't plan any of our previous trip didn't know you could! I think we ate all CS in parks and a bit of ts on idrive.
Thank goodness I've learnt more, I just hope they all enjoy it!
I hope you have a really special holiday!

Vicki, it really doesn't. We're planning our 16th and 17th trips and it's what keeps me sane. As the time for each trip gets close I'm always beside myself with excitement. :dance3:

Hi

This will be my fifth trip and I still get excited (i am a 33 yo man)

I am counting down the sleeps and even have a countdown clock I got from intercot on my desktop........
17 sleeps and it still seems like ages away....but once I get off the plane I will be "home"to the magic.
Although this time it will be even more special as we are taking a friend and her 7yo son for their first time....can't wait to introduce them to the magic...and create another Orlando monster...........:wizard:

I've been to Florida about 50 times since 1988 and it's always the place I look forward to returning to most of all :goodvibes

I love other places too (and still visit new places) - Switzerland and Italy have been lifetime favourites - but there's something about a warm Florida morning that really stays with me when I'm not there

I'm going in April too and it will be my second visit this year. Be warned vicki1971, you could just be on course for a very expensive love affair ;)

We went for the first time in 1997 as a holiday of a lifetime! we go again in july for the 7th time. For us the magic is always there, it has never gone away. Everything from booking, planning and being there is pure magic. We go 13 weeks today and are soooo excited.

I got so hooked on Florida that I bought a house there , my whole family are Disney mad friends think we need therapy . The magic never leaves you have a great holiday it wont be the last one to the mouse .

I was doing well on curbing the excitement about our upcoming holiday until right now, when reading this thread, the song that we listened to all holiday last year has just come on the radio:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

My head is now filled with all things Disney - i can't wait until June to go again!:yay:  :yay:

It never goes away!
Only 6 sleeps for us left and I'm so excited.
I can't sleep, I keep waking up and thinkging it's time to go!
DH is getting exciting and keeps saying 'this time next week' ha ha ha and DD can't comprehend how much time until we go lol
:cool1:

I'm so glad there are like minded people out there. No one at work can understand how I'm sooo very :yay: excited about going back.

Only 3 sleeps left

Wishing you all a wonderful trip.

PS - My dream would be to live there, if I can't have that then I'll settle for a villa. Until that day I'll visit as often as possible.
