The Everything Pooh Sized Thread

For my trip in June, I bought 2 moisture wicking bras from Lane Bryant (when they had a BOGO free promotion). I think they are called cooling bras. They are fabulous, lots of breathable mesh and whatever the cups are lined with really works, I can definitely tell a difference between a regular bra and those!

Wait! I get those rashes! What inserts?! This sounds amazing!

I get mine at Lane Bryant on line and have seen them in the store. They go under the band of the bra and half way up the cup. They are a life saver!!!
I also know you can get them at wickem.com

You will love them. For years I had a rash and what can a young doctor tell you...a male doctor..."keep it dry" "try powder" etc etc.

Are the bras wire free? That's the only kind I wear.

Another pooh sized female diser here. I'm about 5'6 about 245 pds. I've never had any problems at Disney with turnstiles or rides but my main problem I have is swelling feet and ankles from the 10 plus hours of traveling before we get to our Resort. Most of the time by the next day most of the swelling is gone or by day 2 but by the time we get there my ankles and feet feel like they are going to burst they are so swelled. I don't normally have any trouble at home with swelling and I sit most of the day on the computer working in my recliner it's usually when we are riding that far. We usually stop for breakfast and walk around a bit and then when we get gas or bathroom breaks but still swell. We leave in 2 wks and 5 day:banana: and I have started taking Cayenne supplements and Ginger Root to help with circulation before we travel so hope I get enough in me before we go that it will help. Could it be that I don't drink enough while traveling as I don't want to be stopping every 30 min. at a rest stop LOL. Anybody else have any reviews of taking Cayenne or Ginger root for circulation?

TIA

I am really nervous about 7DMT. I keep seeing that picture circulating the boards showing only 13.5 inches of room for the leg bar. :scared1:

My Pooh-ness is all in my chest, hips, and legs with not much in the middle. I'm some freakishly oversized hourglass on a large frame  which means I usually do okay with typical lap bars and seatbelts.

Overhead harnesses are usually my problem since that part is too big to squish. Thankfully, Disney doesn't have any that I can't manage.

But my legs and backside are not only big, they are muscular, especially in the thighs. That 7DMT is going to be one tight fit, if I can get in there at all.

I rode 7DMT the other day, I'm a women's size 24-ish on the bottom and I have very thick thighs. I fit in the seat fine but the bar hurt my legs badly enough that I don't want to ride again and am ditching my other FP+ for it tomorrow.

Ouch! That does not sound pleasant. Doesn't inspire much hope for me, either, but I'll give it a go anyway and hope for the best.

Hi folks- sorry if this is discussed earlier in the 100+ pages :)

I usually wear a 1x shirt. I ordered an XXL nightgown from the Disney store online since many other places that fits easily- and I could barely get it over my head! I've noticed that they do now have some plus sized tees online and I was thinking of ordering a few. I'm just curious if these have the same slim cut that everything else seems to. I figure I may need to order up a size, but don't want it to be giant on me either. My girls are the bulk of my problem when it comes to
shirts! Thanks!

I bought one shirt in one size bigger for a relaxed fit. It was the Cinderella shoe shirt. I bought another shirt(not on the site anymore- at least in plus size) and one of the reviewers on the site said to go up 2 sizes (and i stupidly listened), but it come out wayyyy too big.

. I think the plus size shirts fit ok in size but they are way shorter then I like. They end up being very wide and short.

I'm a 1X too and I usually wear the XXL teeshirts. But I have the opposite problem of most plus sizes. I carry all my weight in my middle and do not have a very large bust (C-Cup). The shirts in that size are a bit slim cut, so I always hang them to dry. I do have one from the plus size range and as described is a bit wide and short. I have a long torso though so all shirts are short on me.

I have that exact problem too with ALL my shirts. I don't wear a shirt without layering it with a tank or cami. This layering becomes a problem when you are in humid Florida, and the tank tops stick to you. Lol.

I have found the same problem with the plus size shirts that the bigger they get, it just means wider not longer. :upsidedow

Or they're long until you wash them..........

ME TOO! I felt like my knees were going to be stuck together for the rest of the day, it was so tight, but the lap bar and seat itself was fine. I'm not sure if I'll spend a fast pass on it again :( It was cool, but I was so uncomfortable I didn't really enjoy it as much as I might have if there was more knee space.

I am a pooh sized gal, 5'4, about 290 right now, but currently on WW and have lost 15 pounds. I am making my first trip to WDW in late January and I am a bit nervous about it all!

Glad to have found this thread!
