Wanted to post a link to a reply I just made in another thread where I show photos of myself and my husband, both solidly pooh-sized, on some rides (7DMT, Space Mountain, Test Track, EE). I'm 5'8", 300-ish lbs. He's the same height, weighed around 350-360 in these photos. Sometimes seeing the photos is helpful for folks who may otherwise be having some anxiety or doubts about whether they can participate!

Does anyone remember the name of the blog that two sisters have that are pooh size? They are very informative about rides at Disney and how/if they ride them. They can be so funny and relaxed while poking fun only at themselves. I saw it once, but now can't remember the name of it.

Another question on 7DMT and FoP: Hubby and I are AP holders and I have been petrified to even try FoP. I have issues with people paying attention to me. I know it sounds weird, but I am not really an introvert and do fine in crowds unless people start looking at me. Anyway, I haven't wanted to even try the trial seat out front to see if I would fit on FoP. Here's my question, hubby and I are BOTH pook sized. We've both lost almost 100 lbs but are both at about 5'10", 315lbs each. We have FP for 7DMT on Tuesday. Will we be able to ride together and if not, can we each take one seat? I have heard nightmares about it being cramped and we're ok with being squished for a few minutes, my concern is being turned away.

My DH and I rode 7DMT together back in 2014 on our last trip there. He was at the time about 385 and I was probably just under 300. He is tall 6ft and I am much shorter-5 ft 4. It was a tight fit bit we did ok.

Does anyone have thoughts about the dining chairs at table-service restaurants? Do they all have arms? Are the seats comfortable? I'm the most concerned about Be Our Guest, Liberty Tree Tavern, Skipper Canteen, 'Ohana, and Sanaa.

I've eaten at all of those in the past couple years, except for Skipper Canteen and 'Ohana. I don't recall the specifics of each, but I always ask for a chair without arms, and I didn't have any problems at any of these locations.

The only WDW restaurant I can remember that didn't work for me was the Sci Fi Dine In, since all seating was in booths or at picnic tables with attached seats. I believe Sci Fi now has a few tables for larger groups that have separate unattached chairs for each person.

I second this! I went in April and it was an uncomfortably tight squeeze. I could hardly bend over in the seat without feeling I was cutting myself in half. I probably should have said something, but it was a car in the front row in the middle!

I would say that if you are not comfortable in a booth at Waffle House (or any other restaurant that uses "standardized" booths), you may want to skip Sci-Fi.

I've eaten at Be Our Guest and Liberty Tree Tavern from your list. Be Our Guest has chairs without arms as well tables that are half booth and half chairs. Liberty Tree has chairs without arms as well.

FYI, we went a few weeks ago to the MK and rode 7dmt. We did fine but if you are over 5'7" and your height is in your legs, it's going to pinch a bit. It's a very short ride and fun though, so give it a shot. I am a very big girl and still did it. I will say that the turnstile into CoP is uncomfortable and I forgot how tight it is getting in/out of the parking lot trams. We went to AK on Halloween and did the Na'vi River Journey with no problems at all, but I will still not even try the FoP seat. WAY too many people milling about for me to even want to use the tester seat.

On my most recent trip, I think the two tightest turnstile fits I encountered were at Country Bear Jamboree and the WDW Railroad. In both cases, I was able to squeeze through, though at the railroad it took some pushing up to make it.

Personally, I'd rather use the wheelchair door than try to push my way thru a turnstile and end up getting stuck.

I'm about 5'7 and carry my weight in the middle. I found if I turned a little sideways and stood on my tippy toes as I moved through the turnstiles, it was an easier fit. But if you're worried about the fit, don't be afraid to use the stroller/wheelchair entrance. Lots of folks use them.

I don't have to many problems with restaurants, the main one I did have a problem with was Sci-Fi sitting in the cars, because of that reason I don't want to go back there. I love Liberty Tree Tavern but the seats are uncomfortable to me. They are armless chairs but the chairs where the legs are have a nub that is higher than the seat and it digs into the back of my thighs and makes it uncomfortable to me. I will still deal with it though because I love the food! I have eaten at 'Ohana's once a few years ago and don't remember any issues.

Probably a long shot, but has anyone of size visited either Shanghai or Hong Kong Disneyland or know any reports regarding the size friendliness of the rides? Not planning to worry about it, but always love to gather info!

I've been to HK Disney and Tokyo Disney. I carry most of my weight on my chest and stomach and had no issues at HK Disney. I had some issues at Tokyo Disney with a couple of rides. They are really great there though. They discreetly pulled me out of line. They had a book to describe to me in English why they were doing so and took me to a discreet hidden location to try a test seat. I wish more parks handled things that way, it was much less embarrassing when I didn't fit.

I just wanted to add about Sci-Fi: I read in advance that the cars were tight, so when we checked in we said we wanted a table in the back. It worked out great! I would not want to try to enjoy a meal squished in a car!

They are very tight.. we did them once.. and the next time I knew I wouldn't fit so we did a picnic table in the back.
