Actually, I've seen it on the news.
It's really what would keep us safe and if they'r escanning everyone its not like you as an individual will matter unless you've got bombs.

they said it will be used instead of patting people down. it wouldn't be used for all people.

The idea of that does sound a little violating.
But it would keep us safe on airplanes and keep terrorists at bay. It said that faces would be blurred so they wouldn't know they were looking at you, and you'll never meet the guy probably so it wouldn't be totally bad.
My question to that is do they have a separate room to be able to do that? You know.. like a person may have medical problems.. (I do), and it wouldn't be appropriate if it was out in the open.That's my only problem I see with it, and I'd feel violated, anyway. I read a post in that thread that said that the person did something like that once and the people were making rude comments about how they looked or whatever. -_-
You never know.. some of those pictures could be on the internet too.. which is just sick.
