No- I'm going to Carnegie Mellon university, sorry should have clarified.

I want to go to WDW so bad, but since I'm paying for my next trip, I need another year to save.

I've got about $1,600 saved for the trip... almost there. Flights are being paid for with miles I accumulated when I was younger and flew 'round the world (or so it seemed).

The precollege program, just by myself. At least I'll be in the US for my summer trip this year. Last year I did community service in the British Virgin Islands!

To WDW, just with my dad, though part of me wants to go alone!

Yeah the BVIs were awesome
I lived on a boat for 3 weeks with 12 other kids and 3 adults... once in a lifetime, I tell ya.

I love doing Disney with my dad. We got along really well when we stopped by Disneyland back in August. He's a pain in the neck at home though

Yeah, I was actually going to go on my WDW trip alone but my dad said he wanted to go.
Whatever, I'm sure that means he'll end up paying for most of it, and thats good by me xD

and yes, hopefully that does mean he pays for you! lol I would love that but my parents do pay for the trip, we have to bring spending money. it's not that bad.

They paid for our '08 trip and its not like they can't afford it but I figured offering to pay couldn't hurt

Anyways.. I want to stay at the Animal Kingdom Villas in a value studio villa, which'll cost around $1,230 if we rent from a DVC owner, and then park hopper 10 day tickets cost about $300 each, so that brings me to $1,530 (dad'll pay for his own), food will be expensive but I'll manage.

All in all it'll be tough, but I think I can do it!

Actually the value studio is the absolute cheapest I could stay on-property for. Weird, right? This is a major budget trip!

Yeah, 10 days hopefully, and I want to visit Islands of Adventure for Harry Potter, too, but I don't know if we'll be able to work that in.

I should have over $3,000 saved when all is said and done, though!
