Yep, it was on! I haven't caught up yet. I just started watching season one and season two about three weeks ago!!!!! I watched the entire first season in about a week and a half. I'm totally addicted and SOOO excited that they won!

OK...I get it now...he wasn't nominated for best reality host...but he is the host of the best reality show!!!!!!!

Absolutely NOTHING I watch won a thing. Nothing for "The Office" -- or Lost or House or Bill Maher either. Nearly every show I watch is going into season 5. Maybe it is my imagination, but it seems like best show Emmys are often for newer shows.

ETA -- Ok House DID get one award for directing.

I must be out of touch with what people consider good television. Besides all the John Adams awards I was kind of confused by most of the winners. Oh well, at least I didn't watch, I only read about the winners on yahoo.

I wondered about him and Gordon Ramsey. They are both better than a few of those nominated IMO.

It was great to see Steve Martin. Yay Don Rickles! Still a wiseguy. Yay Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart! Yay Jeff Probst! That's all I've got.

I did like the reality show break thing. It would be hysterical if the nominees didn't know that they planned to do that but they probably did.

My goodness, Mary Tyler Moore is thin! It was nice to see Betty White.

Funny about all of the little political jabs and comments about being sure to vote but Alec Baldwin didn't mention a thing.

Watched the entire show... but flipped during the commercials. I usually enjoy the emmy's.. but tonight was painful to view. whew! the Reality show hosts did not fare well. Heidi Klum was odd at best.. Howie Mandel must have been surprised to find himself in the reality show category... but I guess there is no game show category for the prime time emmy's as there is for daytime.

Tina Fey did great.. I am very happy to see her well honored. She looked so great in her dress...

Don Rickles emmy acceptance speech was very sweet. I was tickled that he won.
The Laugh In skit was also painful to watch. I LOVED Laugh IN but the timing was soooo off tonight.. ouch
Loved Betty White! she is a true star... Mary Tyler Moore. .while beautiful is very thin (always has been slender) but should wear sleeves

The memorial reel always makes me tear up... but this year we have lost so many talented actors and creators. When Bernie Mac's face appeared.. I was very choked up.

America Ferrara.. she looked good... but the dress was too much.. I wonder what happened to that poofed starched dress when she sat down??
Eva Longoria... If that girl ain't pregnant I will eat my hat! I don't get it... why hide a pregnancy? She looked happy and pretty
The boys from Entourage.. well they all looked Hot!

I think it's from the diabetes. My dad dropped a lot of weight several years before he died. He looked overly thin & frail, too.

I figured her diabetes might be the case. I was watching to catch her legs as there has been rumors regarding the fact that she had multiple problems due to her diabetes.
Isn't her hubbie a plastic surgeon??

While watching the show last night, I kept thinking back on when her show and other such great shows were on. The Emmies were really fun back then. (Ugh, I sound old!)
