I saw the ad for this, and though I never order off TV, I wanted one!! Wonder if it works - Anyone?

I WANT THIS........but wonder if it works.......I had to peel three dozen eggs for a function to make deviled eggs and my hands were sore cause some of the eggs are from chickens that lay hard shelled ones....I get my eggs from a lady that has free range chickens.....so PLEASE LET US KNOW IF IT WORKS>...

I don't make hard boiled eggs that often, but it is easier to take the shells off if you do it under running water. It helps them to slip right off.

You could probably pick one up from a 'As seen on TV' store at the mall. I'm dying to know if it works too.

i usually crack the eggs with a knife or against the counter and then roll the eggs in my palms, and the peel comes right off!

I keep a dozen or two in the fridge for a few extra weeks and then boil them........I have done everything but stand on my head to get these to come off clean.........but if I was making creamed egg on toast or egg salad sandwiches......those suckers would peel like a pro.......

Don't waste your $$. My sis bought one for each of us. Does not work at all. We both tried. By the time you crack the egg the way they tell you and then put it into this contraption that doesnt work anyway, you could peel them.

Thanks mrsstats. My husband wanted one of these. I thought he was dreaming instead of watching TV when he saw the commercial. I guess we will continue to do it the "old fashioned" way.

I thought whoever invented that is a genius! Apparently not.

hardboil a dozen eggs.....then you have extras to munch on....
in a large skillet.....melt two or three tablespoons of margarine
add two tablespoons of flour to make a thickened mess
slowly add milk ...probably two or three cups......
stir until the flour mess is dissolved......
when you think it is thickening up .....
add sliced up hard boiled eggs into it
I like mine thick with eggs so I do as many
as the pan can take....
toast your bread and spoon the mixture
onto your toast ....I make cute little
toast points......
this is comfort food for the winter.....
I also do instead of the eggs......tuna
creamed tuna on toast with peas in it.....
hubby hates that one

I've seen it advertised and I'm glued to the tv trying to figure out how in the world the thing works. I'd kinda like to have it just to see if it does work.

OMG.. This is so funny. I thought I had a dream about this contraption and it wasn't real. It was right when I went up on a dose of medicine that causes you to have wild dreams...LOL. I've only seen that commercial once so I figured I had dreamed the whole thing up. I was scared to tell Matt about it because he hasn't let me forget about the potato/turnip thing

Did you say creamed egg on toast????? I thought my grandmother was the only person who made this!! She is 69 years old and of West Indian/Afro heritage. Was this something your mother made?
