This is our 6th trip to WDW, but our first time during Easter. Now that the hours are coming out, I'm re-thinking my first 2 days. We are driving in (second leg of the trip about a 2 hour drive) on Sunday 4/4, but I thought we could just laze around the pool that day and go the 'Ohana for dinner, then EE the next day at AK, but from the posted hours it looks like that would be 7:00am! Now I'm thinking about doing Epcot the morning we arrive, check into Dolphin, then MK that night, and keep my 'Ohana PS. Will MK be awful that night??? I'd love any tips or hints!

its easter week so I dont think there is a place that isnt crowded. easter week really stinks but plan your days and nights dont even think about seeing and doing everything in one shot and just take deep breaths and relax!!! lol

And please make your PSs a soon as you possibly can! And as far as EE goes you are going to have to get to the parks as early as humanly possible on the days you go to the parks. :hyper:

I haven't been Easter week, but we were there Christmas/New Years week last year and even that crowded, it didn't stink!;)

Like I said, I haven't been at Easter but I would highly recommend that you check out Tour Guide Mike (www.tourguidemike.com). He puts out a "holiday week survival guide" for busy weeks like Easter week. He will have it updated with EE hours and anything that may efffect crowd levels and will list what parks he recommends for each day during the day and the evening and why. We found his advice to be right on. Even being there the busiest week of the year when parks closed at capacity more than once, the longest line I waited in all week was to get lunch at Epcot on 12/31. Honestly, we had a fantastic week and saw just about everything we wanted to. We could have seen everything but decided not to do things like Fantasmic since it was very very crowded and we'd be back in May. We are actually planning to go back the same week this year without hesitation.

If you go to www.mousesavers.com, on the main page there is a link to use to get a discount off of the purchase price for Tour Guide Mike. IMHO, it's $17 well spent ESPECIALLY on a holiday week!

Have a great trip!!!! :)

I would think the earlier part of the week will be lighter than say the end of the week when people who are just making a long weekend of it come in or don't get off schools until Thursday or Friday. Also-- a lot of people might still be travelling and arriving later on Sunday. I'd go for a park on Sunday. Also--you may want to weigh the benefits of the extra magic hour with how crowded the park will be after it opens to the public. Unless you plan on leaving if it gets too crowded and park hopping. A lot of people prefer using the "morning after plan"--go to a park the day after it was the early entry park. (And get that extra hour of sleep or do a breakfast)

I've booked the majority of my PS', and even booked the Fantasmic dinner package -never needed to before, but I figured it wouldn't hurt! I am really liking the idea of going to MK on Sunday (still wanna try doing EE on Thursday, then scooting out when it gets chaotic!) I'm thinking about Tour Guide Mike and the tour plans from Unofficial Guide. Do you mind checking out my itinerary and telling me what you think? :teeth:Ok here it is:
